Abstract: A tissue face mask similar to that used by a dentist but placed in covering relation over the face of a patient preparatory to an abrasive dental procedure in which mask there are shaping stays that are manually conformed to the facial features of the patient to prevent harm to the patient from the particulate fall out of the abrasive dental procedure.
Abstract: For a selected collar stay, i.e., 0.375 inches in width, for a shirt knitted with selectively sized wales, i.e., 0.10 inches in width, a pocket for the stay also knitted but with selectively narrower wales, i.e., 0.025 inches in width, so that predictably a number of wales, i.e., 14 in number, produces a width of the pocket approximately equal to the width of the stay to minimize movement of the stay within the pocket.
Abstract: In the providing of abdominal support to a pregnant mother-to-be in the latter months of gestation in which her protruding semi-spherical abdominal shape is used to advantage to hold in place criss-crossing straps which supply the support, wherein the upper ends of the straps are attached to a closed loop elastic band which is positioned above, and therefore is prevented from slipping out of position, by the protruding semi-spherical abdominal shape.
Abstract: A movable support for positioning a left/right hand during the application of polish to a user's four fingernails in the use of which the user's thumb on an adjacent support surface steadies the four-finger support against movement from the polishing position.
Abstract: A two-strap golf bag carrier in which the first and second straps each being oriented in opposite angular directions are adapted to cross each other at approximately a mid-point of the user's back, at which crossing point the straps are joined together which obviates lateral movement of the straps away from each other as would cause a strap to slip off of a shoulder.
Abstract: A peristaltic pump delivering a medicant through a plastic tube with an appropriate wall thickness to withstand external rubbing contact with the rotating rotor of the pump, in which downstream of the rotor a tubing length is used in the plastic tube having a thinner wall thickness so that when a downstream occulsion is detected, the pressure build-up transmitted upstream to the tubing length more readily causes it to undergo an expansion radially because of its thinner wall to actuate an on-off switch of the peristaltic pump.
Abstract: A method of operating a toy parrot of a known type, as illustrated and described in U.S. Pat. No. 4,913,676, having a voice-recording and a recorded voice-playback mechanism in the operation of which the playback of the previously recorded voice, namely that of the user, is initiated from a covert location, such as a pocket of the user, so that a listener is taken by surprise by the playback which significantly contributes to the play value of the toy parrot.
Abstract: Adding a decorative panel in a display position about a handbag by positioning opposite panel edges beneath front and rear fold-down flaps, the contacting surfaces of the flaps and panel edges being firmly secured to each other to an extent obviating inadvertent release of a flap during use as might result from snagging, and yet manual release is well within the strength of the user preparatory to changing a display panel.
Abstract: For a mouth-covering dental face mask supported by elastic loops which mask during use on occasion has to be moved to a clearance or mouth-uncovered position to permit discourse between the patient and dentist, the use of eyeglasses both for supporting the elastic loops and also for conveniently masking and unmasking the dentist correlated to the taking off and putting on the eyeglasses.
Abstract: A two-piece clamp, of a spherical shape convenient for use as a hand grip, attached about a cord in an interposed position therebetween, which impales the cord with pointed teeth so that the clamp holds fast to its position at the attachment site despite forces exerted longitudinally of the cord.
Abstract: An exercise belt with compartments for individual exercise bar weights, which is sometimes used with some empty compartments to reduce the exercising effort, the use of elastomeric construction material for each compartment holding by its urgency the bar weights in place, rather than the use of a closure flap over all of the openings of all of the compartments even those that are empty, and being empty are not effective in providing an interengaged loop and hook connection for the closure flap.
Abstract: Transporting items of bulk, i.e., stacked documents or boxed merchandise, which vary in extent from time to time, in an envelope that gives a desired favorable appearance of containing an item of bulk that is greater than the bulk of the item that is actually the content of the envelope, which motivates the recipient to open the envelope. The envelope is rectangular and at least along three sides has isosceles shaped gussets characterized by progressively diminishing clearance between the sides in the direction of the apex, so that the thickness or bulk of the item in the envelope is effectively engaged by the sides of the isosceles triangles before significant shifting, particularly of stacked documents, can occur as might diminish the perceived bulk based on the external appearance of the envelope.
Abstract: A dental bib adhesively secured to a patient in the use of which the adhesive is uncovered incident to use by being unfolded from the bib so that after its use the folding back covers the adhesive so that during disposal there is no inadvertent attachment to a trash container wall, or to trash therein, or like interferences with proper disposal.

Abstract: A dental bib to be adhesively attached to a patient having desirable nominally-sized areas of adhesive deposits which nevertheless adhere as firmly as currently used large-sized deposits as a result of using recesses in an embossed pattern on the dental bib for making available increased amounts of adhesive, wherein the area over which the adhesive is spread and now also the depth of the adhesive contributes to achieving the attachment function.
