Abstract: For a pipe check valve of a known construction involving a peripheral extending rubber seal and known to be installed by being manually urged through ascending movement in the pipe, the newly added recess below the peripheral seal to receive thereinto a fold-down of the seal during the ascending movement to obviate abrasion of the seal as might contribute to leakage of the check valve during use.
Abstract: In the tandem operation of two vehicles, one towing and the other being towed, an accommodation is readily made for a wide range of different models of the towed vehicle using, in spanning relation between the towed vehicle's steering wheel and brake pedal, a lengthwise extensible brake pedal-depressing component, wherein simultaneous with the braking of the towing vehicle, is when the component extends to brake the towed vehicle to contribute to a safer, coordinated stopping of the two vehicles.
Abstract: A pocket-sized battery-operated flashlight adapted for use as an advertising premium which is typically used in close range to illuminate a keyhole of a lock to open the lock with a key, for which close range use only a portion of straight-away light is needed, so that available excess light is diverted radially to illuminate a display to thereby contribute to the value of the flashlight as a premium.
Abstract: An exposed strap of a brassiere embodying decoration, in a preferred embodiment, as interconnected chain links, in which the looseness of the links permits the strap to assume a looping shape over a user's shoulder, during fitting of the brassiere, and thereafter an elastic tab holds the strap taut during use.
Abstract: A treatment of using pressure-driven blood infused with an antibiotic, analgesic or like pharmacological agent from a site of delivery to the patient to a site of pain or ache, in which significantly the noted blood movement is according to an established pressure gradient and supplements the pumping function of the heart, to thereby lessen the time interval of travel between the two sites.
Abstract: A connector, primarily for lacing up footwear, having a finger grip which houses opposite ends of a closed loop of elastic disposed on opposite sides of a wall in the finger grip housing, and a crank pivotal into contact with one elastic loop end to hold this end and to push the wall against the other elastic loop end, so that the elastic is held as a closed loop during footwear lacing.
Abstract: A suspender strap spring clip sized to engage a garment button in which size adjustments for a range of button diameters are possible, but only using tools with a mechanical advantage. Any manual-attempted size adjustment is prevented by friction in the clip construction so that it will not occur inadvertently.
Abstract: A miniature-sized toy vehicle that is set in motion with a push along an intended straight-ahead path of movement and which rides on a ball bearing in depending relation from the vehicle chassis, the revolving mode of which ball bearing contributes to an optimum length of travel, and wherein the vehicle chassis has a rotative degree of movement about the ball bearing and during its travel will realign itself, if inadvertently released at an angle to the movement path, into a proper position for travel along the intended straight-ahead path of movement, to further increase the length of travel of the toy vehicle.
Abstract: For sliding doors of a stall shower tracking in front and rear tracks with a sliding clearance therebetween, front and rear brackets suspended on the tracks and each having a leg respectively projected into a tracking path of movement, and each having additional legs positioned in the sliding clearance for interconnection to thereby immobilize the doors against sliding movement while the brackets remain interengaged thus serving, as one end use, the child-proofing of the stall shower against any non-supervised entry into the stall shower when it is not in use.
Abstract: A prop to hold a patient on his/her side while in a hospital bed in which a standard-sized hospital pillow is stowed in a rolled condition within a launderable sleeve having a sleeve-attached flap of approximately eight inches tucked beneath the patient's side which allows limited patient rolling movement against the prop which contributes to patient comfort. The eight inch dimension of the flap keeps the prop close to the patient so that more drastic movement which could cause injury does not occur.
Abstract: A lock of hair displayed in a vertical orientation that is attached to a string-like depending component of an earring using a slipknot in the string to engage the lock of hair, wherein the knot both holds the lock of hair in place and also compresses its girth so that the non-compressed girth above the knot prevents inadvertent disengaging descending movement through the knot.
Abstract: The positioning of the buckle plate of an auto driver's safety belt so that it is within reach of the driver without the need to turn attention away from traffic in front of the auto, a dangerous maneuver often needed when the safety belt, through oversight, has to be buckled after the auto is in motion.
