  • Patent number: 4333332
Abstract: A differential scanning microcalorimeter comprises an adiabatic shell accommodating two capillary calorimetric chambers. One end of each chamber extends beyond the shell and passes through a heat bypass. At least one chamber is contrived in the form of two capillary tubes in thermal contact with each other, with the ends located inside the shell communicating with an end of the other chamber also located inside the shell.

  • Patent number: 4320532
Abstract: An apparatus for automatic monitoring of superheterodyne radio receivers, comprising a unit for shaping the tune-in frequency signal of the receiver, units for shaping the signals of adjacent channels, and units for shaping the signals of additional channels, their outputs being connected through an adder to the input of the receiver to be tested. Each of the units includes a master oscillator, a mixer with the heterodyne output of the receiver connected thereto, and a filter. Each of the units for shaping the signal of an adjacent channel includes, in addition to the master oscillator, mixer and filter, a second mixer and a shift generator.

  • Patent number: 4316114
Abstract: A locking structure for the rotor end winding of a distributed polar electric machine comprises a retaining ring embracing the rotor end winding and fixed on the rotor body by a shrink fit, and a locking ring preventing the retaining ring from axial shift with respect to the rotor body. The locking ring embraces both the retaining ring and the rotor body within their connection area and is secured firmly against radial shift with respect to both of them by the shrink fit. Said locking ring has bayonet joint portions on its inner surface at one of the end faces thereof, and has a bead at its other end face, serving as a thrust for a ring key. Mating portions of the bayonet joint are provided on the outer surface of the retaining ring, while the ring key is located on the rotor body.

  • Patent number: 4312110
Abstract: A metal-cutting machine includes a bed with slideways, a movable unit with a headstock and a drive for moving it in a horizontal plane over the bed slideways, a work table with stock guides for moving the pallets carrying the workpieces and provided with coupling members for gripping the pallets, at least one platform installed before the work table in the direction of movement of the workpieces and is provided with stock guides for the pallets. The platform and work table are arranged for movement relative to each other in a horizontal plane so that when the pallet moves to and from the working position the stock guides of the platform serve as a continuation of the stock guides of the work table. The machine also incorporates a device for gripping the pallet in order to move it over the stock guides of the platform and work table to and from the working position.
