  • Patent number: 7003914
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the protection of germinating seed from pesticide, wherein seed-containing pellets and pesticide-containing pellets are sown separately but simultaneously. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the pesticide-containing pellets have substantially the same shape and diameter as the seed-containg pellets, and the pesticide-containing pellets comprise the exact dosis of pesticide that is sufficient for one seed germ. Generally, the pellets with pesticide have a diameter ranging from 0,5–5.

  • Patent number: 7006158
Abstract: In order to be able to identify television or video images (V1,V2) as identical, predeterminable parameters (H1, H2) of the images (V1, V2) to be tested are compared with each other. Images whose parameters, preferably the average brightness (H1, H2), fall within a predeterminable tolerance range, are identified as identical images. Thus, e.g. in a television reception equipment, particularly a mobile one, the images of all receivable transmitters are tested. Images identified as identical are allocated to the same transmitters or the same programs, the channels of which are stored as alternative channels. When there is bad reception or bad image quality an alternative channel is switched to.

  • Patent number: 7003275
Abstract: Agile frequency converter and method, IF-RF level exchange process, and notch filtering techniques. System noise and spurious levels generated by channel frequency conversion is reduced in applications requiring broadband combining of frequency converters to form multichannel composite signal. Converter employs two-stage frequency conversion process, with gain exchange system using variable pre-mixer gain and variable post-mixer attenuation to maintain constant RF output signal power level. For those few conversion frequencies where distortion component(s) cannot be filtered without degrading desired signal, IF-RF level exchange is optimized for meeting the carrier-to-distortion (C/D) ratio specifications at slight expense of noise level for that channel only, while still meeting aggregate combined carrier-to-noise (C/N) specification requirements.

  • Patent number: 7002648
Abstract: A reflective LCD has a plurality of pixels formed in rows and columns in a matrix. Among the pixels, pixels A and B are arranged adjacent to each other in the same column. A connection line is arranged over the two pixels A and B arranged adjacent to each other in the same column. A first end of the connection line is connected to a capacitor electrode contact of a storage capacitor formed in the pixel A and to a reflective pixel electrode formed in the pixel A. A second end of the connection line is extended over a gate line for the pixel A with an insulating film among functional films being between the connection line and the gate line and is connected to a source electrode (or drain electrode) of a switching element formed in the pixel B.

  • Patent number: 6991991
Abstract: A method for preventing to form a spacer undercut in SEG preclean process is provided. This present invention utilizes HFEG solution to etch the first spacer and the second spacer simultaneously, which can prevent from producing a spacer undercut, meanwhile; a native oxide layer upon a surface of a semiconductor substrate is removed. Hence, the clean surface on the semiconductor substrate is obtained. This method includes the steps as follows: Firstly, the native oxide layer upon the surface of the semiconductor substrate is removed by DHF (HF in deionized water) solution. Then, etching the first spacer and the second spacer at the same time by HFEG (HF diluted by ethylene glycol) solution. Also, the native oxide upon the semiconductor substrate is removed. Therefore, it obtains the clean semiconductor surface without a serious spacer undercut.
