  • Patent number: 7622456
Abstract: The present invention provide a method for analyzing the DSG3 overexpression in tumor tissues with clinical features of cancer cells to validate that DSG3 overexpression is relates to size, depth and migration of tumor. Therefore, DSG3 overexpression is capable for using in clinical applications, determining malignant degree of tumor, serving as molecular target in Head Neck Cancer (HNC). Moreover, a jamming sequence, RNA, is designed to act on DSG3 mRNA and is effective inhibition-specific DSG3 expression, and then inhibits cell growth, invasion and migration in HNC.

  • Patent number: 7623640
Abstract: Disclosed is a door intercom system, which is installed on a door of a community for communicating with and identifying a visitor and opening/closing the door through a network by an inhabitant among a plurality of inhabitants of the community and capable of transferring data to a system provider through the network. The door intercom system has a central processing unit (CPU) connected to a database, a dialing key module, a display module, a video and audio processing module and a network interface, respectively. In the database, inhabitant codes, network logon numbers and identification numbers of the plurality of inhabitants are stored. When the visitor inputs an inhabitant code through the dialing key module, the CPU acquires the network logon number corresponding to the inhabitant and is communicatively connected to the network through the network interface, the network being connected at the other end to the inhabitant end or the system provider through a public switched telephone network (PSTN).

  • Patent number: 7621219
Abstract: The method and apparatus for registration of a lithographic plate includes a means for ensuring that the plate is in contact with registration pins on imaging and bending devices and a means for finely adjusting an initial position of the plate with respect to registration pins on the bender to bring the plate in registration with the specified plate lock-up position on the press cylinder. Three separate electrical circuits ensure that the plate is in contact with the registration pins if each separate circuit is able to conduct current between the respective pins and the plate. The fine adjustment is accomplished by rotation of eccentric registration pins until the plate is within tolerance.

  • Patent number: 7621356
Abstract: A powered, directionally steerable trailer jack that can be used to elevate and lower a trailer tongue and having a caster wheel assembly affixed to a lower end of the jack. The caster wheel assembly includes a shroud having the wheels' axle journaled for rotation at a lower end thereof along with a pair of shafts also journaled for rotation in the shroud and oriented parallel to the axle. A chain and sprocket arrangement provides a low-speed, high torque transmission between one of the shafts and the axle and a high-speed, low torque transmission between the other of the shafts and the axle. The trailer jack assembly can be tilted out of its vertical disposition to provide adequate clearance when the trailer is being pulled over uneven road surfaces. The power for driving the wheels may be provided manually by means of a crank for turning one or the other of the shafts or by an electric motor coupled one of the shafts.

  • Patent number: 7620303
Abstract: An ice fishing underwater camera holder is disclosed which is used for holding the camera at a desired depth and rotating the camera to the desired viewing area. The camera holder comprises a disk for setting over a hole in the ice. The disk having a slot for passing a cable through and for holding the cable by use of a plurality of cleats aligned on the top of the disk for winding the cable between the cleats. To adjust the length of the cable, the cable can be removed from the cleats and the length of cable passing through the slot adjusted before winding the cable through the cleats. The cable has a camera on one end to view fish or other objects below the ice. To turn the camera to a desired position for viewing the disk is rotated thus turning the cable to align the camera.

  • Patent number: 7610855
Abstract: Transportation of a lithographic plate uses an indexer to load plates into pods for delivery to a press cylinder via a pod elevator or a pod cart. The plates are imprinted with a bar code, imaged, punched, bent, sheared, corner notched, and registered to a press cylinder. The plates are loaded into the indexer, which moves the loaded plates into a position in alignment with designated pod compartments, and loads the plates into each of the designated pod compartments by indexed movement of an elevator within the indexer. The pod elevator or the pod cart moves the pods proximate to a press cylinder where the plates are unloaded from the pod and loaded onto a press cylinder. A computing device, such as a PLC, directs the process. A vision system senses information from the indexer, pod, pod elevator, and the plate for feedback to a PLC, which initiates all of the foregoing operations.

  • Patent number: 7609783
Abstract: An amplitude shift keying (ASK) demodulation circuit based on a self sample as a basis application in an organism implantation microsystem is a low-cost and high-performance ASK demodulation core, comprising a pulse shaper, a voltage scaler, a level contrastor, and a self-sampler for achievement of the demodulation core provided pretty digital features, and needs no passive resistor and capacitor, which may reduce the cost of design and prevent the problem with precision. Further, in the aspect of active point, the size of a transistor may be adjusted for variable control, and hence levels determined among modulation signals may be reduced to lower the complexity of voltage regulator in design.

  • Patent number: 7585000
Abstract: A liquid chemical applicator tank made out of ultrahigh modular weight polyethylene which has a higher volume tank by use of a tank design with a narrower front end and wider rear end over the wheels of the trailer. The tank has wheel wells over the wheels, and a series of weldments on the frame engage indented ribs in the tank to help support the tank over the wheels. The tank has a short length and width while having a large volume such that the width is less than twelve feet, eliminating special road permits, while hauling up to 2400 gallons with a 62½ inches on-center lateral length between the inside wheel assemblies. The short length and low profile allows better tracking and greater visibility. Indented ribs in the tank engage weldments on the trailer frame to eliminate straps to hold the tank on the trailer.

  • Patent number: 7581655
Abstract: A pullbox assembly for use in wiring having an upwardly tapered cylindrical main body having a larger diameter base than top for preventing upward movement of the pullbox when installed in the ground due to frost or soil conditions. The taper of the pullbox allows fill to be placed all around the pullbox easily. The pullbox may have a base with apertures, or a ledge at the base's rim, for allowing fill to exit when lifting the pullbox to a desired height in a hole. The fill exiting the base of the pullbox forms a smooth, even base for the pullbox when the pullbox is rotated in the hole. The apertures in the base also act as drainholes for letting water in and out and preventing groundwater from lifting the pullbox after installation. A strong lightweight plastic cover can be used to cover the pullbox for street traffic use.
