Abstract: A color filter includes a red filter segment, a green filter segment and a blue filter segment, on a substrate, wherein when a pseudo-white LED is used, an area of a triangle defined by three chromaticity points of the red, green and blue filter segments expressed as (xR, yR), (xG, yG) and (xB, yB) on the x-y chromaticity diagram occupies 72% or more of an area standard triangle defined by defined by 3 points of red (0.67, 0.33), green (0.21, 0.71) and blue (0.14, 0.08), and the color filter has a color temperature of 6000K or more. Each of the red, green and blue filter segments has a thickness of 3.3 ?m or less. A liquid crystal display device includes such color filter and the pseudo-white LED.
Abstract: A color multifunction printer of the present invention includes a volatile chemical substance catching device, provided in an exhaust duct provided above a fixing unit, which generates an electric field in an atmosphere with use of an electric-field generating and catching member, which attracts volatile chemical substances contained in the atmosphere to a surface of the electric-field generating and catching member by the action of the electric field, and which catches the volatile chemical substances. This makes it possible to realize a volatile chemical substance catching device and an electronic apparatus that hardly suffer from aged deterioration in performance and can catch volatile chemical compounds such as VOCs and odors over a long period of time.

Abstract: An etching and recovery method is described, wherein articles made of copper are etched with an acid aqueous solution of etching chemicals containing Cu2+ for oxidizing Cu0 to Cu+, chloride ions, oxidizing agent which oxidizes Cu+ to Cu2+, and pH-adjusting hydrochloric acid. Abstract: Automatic setting and/or adjusting of the threshold(s) for triggering measurements of signal strength/quality of other RATs that are needed for IRAT mobility is described. The setting and/or adjusting of the threshold(s) triggering IRAT measurements is automatically optimized and preferably performed for each BS. Initially, constraints on the optimization of the IRAT measurement triggering threshold(s) are set, and a start value for the optimization of the IRAT measurement triggering threshold(s) is provided or determined. Input information needed for the optimization of the IRAT measurement triggering threshold(s) are then collected, and new IRAT measurement triggering threshold(s) are determined and set or existing IRAT measurement triggering threshold(s) are adjusted if appropriate.
Abstract: A method of performing a processing task in a data processing apparatus is provided that reduces memory usage of the processing task. According to this method a Virtual Machine performs the steps of accessing platform-neutral program code in a function repository, executing the processing task on the Virtual Machine, and analysing at a current execution point, on a function-by-function basis, which functions in the function repository are inactive functions. The Virtual Machine performs software-based unloading from the function repository of at least a portion of platform-neutral program code corresponding to one or more inactive functions. A corresponding virtual machine and data processing apparatus are also provided.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a thermocatalytic cracking process for the production of diesel oil from a charge of vegetable origin made from seeds of oleaginous plants in refineries possessing at least two FCC reactors. At least one of such reactors processes heavy gas oil or residue under conventional conditions while at least one of such reactors processes the charge of vegetable origin made from seeds of oleaginous plants under conditions suitable, for production of diesel oil. Said process employs the same catalyst utilized in the fluid catalytic cracking process which, simultaneously, processes a conventional charge. The diesel, or biodiesel, oil produced by means of said process is of superior quality having a cetane number exceeding 40 given that the cracking reactions occur at low temperatures and the products obtained are less oxidized and consequently purer than products obtained by means of existing technology.

Abstract: In a transmissive-type liquid crystal display device including a liquid crystal panel and a backlight, the liquid crystal panel has pixels each divided into four subpixels red (R), green (G), blue (B), and white (W). The backlight is a white backlight by which luminance of emitted light is controllable. A color-saturation reducing section carries out a process of reducing color saturation on a first RGB input signal, which is an original input signal, so that the first RGB input signal becomes a second RGB input signal. Thereafter, an output signal generating section obtains a transmissivity and a backlight value on the basis of the second RGB input signal.
Abstract: A respiratory mask assembly for use in the delivery of non-invasive positive airway pressure to a user. The assembly includes a rigid shell having a channel portion defined by an inner wall, an outer wall and a channel floor, a face-contacting cushion acting to space the shell away from the user's face and a sealing tab extending from the cushion to engage a portion of the shell to provide a continuous airtight seal between the cushion and the shell. A retaining ring within the mask assembly is configured to secure the cushion to the shell. The retaining ring has a first portion including at least one clip configured to pass through at least one slot portion such that an underside surface of the at least one clip engages a section of the shell when the retaining ring is positioned within the channel.
