  • Patent number: 7450355
Abstract: A current detector (60) samples a motor current (MCRT_A) from a controlling sensor and a motor current (MCRT_B) from a monitoring sensor, and holds respective motor current maximum values (MCRT_Amax, MCRT_Bmax) at each prescribed operation cycle. An abnormality determiner (62a) detects that the motor current maximum value (MCRT_Amax) is in GND short-circuiting range and that the current difference between the maximum values exceeds a prescribed threshold value at each of successive operation cycles, to thereby determine an abnormality of the controlling sensor. Then, the abnormality determiner (62a) generates a detect signal (DET) specifying the current sensor abnormality and outputs it to a relay driver (64) and an alarm (66). Relay driver (64) receives the detect signal (DET) and generates a signal (SE) to turn off a system relay. The alarm (66) generates a signal (AL) and outputs it to display means arranged outside a power supply apparatus.

  • Patent number: 7418070
Abstract: In a signal generator, a peak value/peak position detection section detects value and position of an amplitude peak observed in modulation data coming from an orthogonal modulation section, and a peak carrier extraction section extracts L subcarriers capable of minimizing such an amplitude peak. A peak carrier generation section generates peak suppression data corresponding to thus extracted subcarriers, and a subtraction section subtracts the peak suppression data from the modulation data. A transmission signal generation section generates an analog transmission signal from the modulation data, and a peak suppression section generates an analog peak suppression signal from the peak suppression data. A signal synthesis section synthesizes the transmission signal and the peak suppression signal, and sends out the synthesis result to a wireless communications line via a transmission antenna. With such a structure, any amplitude peak found in a multicarrier transmission signal can be successfully suppressed.

  • Patent number: 7362588
Abstract: In a flying capacitor type battery voltage detector on a circuit substrate, a large number of photo MOS switches having performance highly depending from temperature are dividedly disposed on front and back surfaces of the circuit substrate such that the photo MOS switches of the back surface are lying over the photo MOS switches of the front surface. Each of pairs of photo MOS switches connects a pair of surface lines with first and second floating lines to transmit an output voltage of each cell of a battery pack connected with the surface lines to a differential amplifier through a flying capacitor connected with the floating lines. Because of the division of the photo MOS switches on the surfaces of the circuit substrate, temperatures of the photo MOS switches have less dispersion, and an S/N ratio of each signal indicating the output voltage can be improved.
