Abstract: A portable rod and reel device utilizing trigger-actuated line release and braking mechanism is provided in which a fishing line reel of an otherwise conventional design is integrated with a trigger-actuated line release and braking mechanism. The reel is based upon a conventional spincast reel design for winding and releasing a length of fishing line. The reel is mounted and enclosed within a main housing. A prolate void volume is formed throughout a central portion of the main housing, through which fingers pass, thus facilitating a firm grasp of the main housing. A hollow rod is attached to an end of the main housing. A hook restraint is removably attached to an end of the hollow rod. A trigger element functions so as to allow for both the release and braking of fishing line in a controlled, easy manner through conjunctive engagement with the reel.

Abstract: A golf stance coordinator template and method for using the same is provided for establishing and documenting a correct stance and for repeated positioning of the golf ball when utilizing assorted golf clubs. The device includes a foot positioning template having an E-shaped configuration when assembled for use. The foot positioning template includes first, second, and third vertical foot marker members which are pivotally secured to a horizontal foot marker member. The foot positioning template folds into an I-shaped configuration for ease in transportability. Indicia are provided to serve as golf stance indicator markers.

Abstract: A positive piece engagement indicator for marking tool is provided in which a metal workpiece is contacted with a workpiece contact probe for providing physical contact with, as well as electrical communication with the metal surface of a workpiece. A test voltage and indicator means are placed in series between the workpiece and marking tool. Upon physical contact of the marking tool engagement surface with the surface of the metal workpiece, a circuit is completed by the electrical communication there between, thereby engaging the indicator means. This allows positive verification of actual engagement of worktool to workpiece.

Abstract: A cellular communication phone with integral headset retraction device is provided. The headset retraction device is integrally molded to a lower portion of the rear side of the phone. The headset retraction device includes a housing which serves to store a cable reel having a cable retracting mechanism and an electrical conducting cable. The electrical conducting cable includes a micro-sized microphone connected between an audio receiver earpiece and an auxiliary plug connector. An auxiliary plug storage receptacle is provided in order to prevent free suspension of the auxiliary plug connector. A cable guidance column is provided to aid in directing the electrical conducting cable into the retraction housing when being wound therein. An earpiece retention jacket is disclosed for supporting the audio receiver earpiece.

Abstract: An all-terrain vehicle ladder support bracket is provided. The support bracket includes a pair of tubular frame assemblies adapted for removable attachment to a traditional all-terrain vehicle to serve as a ladder support. Each tubular frame assembly has a main leg member with a curved, lower end which threadedly receives a V-shaped extension member. Attachment of the V-shaped extension member provides a horizontally disposed impingement surface for impinging against an aluminum ladder. The V-shaped extension member is available in a plurality of sizes having various lengths, thereby allowing for the all-terrain vehicle ladder support bracket to accommodate a load capacity of at least two aluminum ladders. An upper arm member extends perpendicularly from the main leg member and bifurcates into two laterally opposed retainment arms which serve to anchor the support bracket. The aluminum ladder is supported laterally alongside the all-terrain vehicle.

Abstract: A cable retainer for sided structures is an apparatus to secure and hold low-voltage and data-type cables to clapboards on the side of a residential or commercial structure. A clip type arrangement is used that slides between the boards where they overlap one another. The clip can be pushed in with a special tool or hammered in as well. The side of the clip is provided with plastic barbs which aid in retaining the invention. The bottom contains a “U”-shaped clip that holds smaller cables and another version of the invention has a slit which is used with a conventional cable-tie for retaining larger or multiple cables. Placed approximately every four feet, any type of cable is neatly held without sagging. If the cable is removed, the clip is supplied with a pre-scored mark that allows the bottom portion of the invention to be snapped off and removed while leaving the concealed upper portion in place.

Abstract: A golf ball cleaning apparatus includes a pair of cylindrical chambers defined as an upper chamber removably attachable to a lower chamber. The lower chamber is provided within an internal golf ball cleaning fluid reservoir bounded upwardly by a lower surface of a semi-porous floor. The lower chamber further includes a half-spherical cavity embedded with semi-rigid scouring bristles. The upper chamber is of a generally hollow configuration and includes a half-spherical cavity embedded with semi-rigid scouring bristles. The semi-rigid scouring bristles snugly engage an entire standard dimpled golf ball surface when the upper and lower chambers are coupled together. The upper chamber is snapped to the lower chamber in a semi-interference-type fit. A fastener is mounted atop the upper chamber to facilitate removable connection of the golf ball cleaning apparatus to a standard golf bag.

Abstract: A hair product application package is provided for applying a supply of hair gel product to curly hair in order to facilitate straightening thereof. A translucent plastic container is included for storing a product applicator and the clear, gelatinous composition. The product applicator has an ergonomically designed cap so as to allow easy user manipulation and control thereof. The product applicator includes bristles defined as split fibers. The product supply is a composition having properties facilitating a greaseless, non-wet appearance when applied to consumer's hair.

Abstract: An adjustable, body circumfusion barbell with off-centerline moment and rotating grip is provided for facilitating correct anatomical relationships and positioning while weight training. The apparatus serves not only to allow one to derive maximum benefits when training, but also serves to avert injury. The adjustable, body circumfusion barbell with off-centerline moment and rotating grip includes a barbell defining a first countermoment end, an intermediate moment segment, and a second countermoment end. The first and second countermoment end each have weight supporting means and rotating, knurled hand grips. The intermediate moment segment includes an elongated, laterally adjustable trave perpendicularly mounted in an offset manner between a pair of extension members. The intermediate moment segment provides a window for accommodating users of various torso sizes.

The absorbent sanitary article with posterior guide ridge member has a bodycontacting surface for providing comfort against body skin and throughwhich bodily fluids will pass. An absorbency core provides some measure of bodily fluid absorbency. A barrier layer is included in order to prevent bodily fluids retained by the absorbency core from penetrating through the present invention and soiling adjacent undergarments. An outer layer imparts a degree of comfort and softness, as well as providing a vapor permeable sheathe. An integrally formed guide ridge is provided in order to be guidably received within a septum region of the wearer to prevent soilage of undergarments and to provide the wearer with a greater sense of dryness.

Abstract: A combined portable, cleaning fluid spray apparatus and paper towel support and dispensing apparatus is provided which combines the functions of a liquid window cleaner spray dispenser and a paper towel roll holder into one product. A long, tube-type arrangement fits inside a roll of paper towels, and the lower portion of the tube comprises a base which holds used and discarded paper towels in a lower compartment. A standard pump sprayer at the top connects to the tube with a threaded connection. An upper plate-type washer along with a tension rod provides a method of restraining the paper towels when not being used, as well as an easy means to tear off the paper towels during use.

Abstract: A portable, compact computer and projector stand is provided. A table top having a generally planar upper surface for supporting a laptop computer and a projector includes an L-shaped track receiving lip for engaging a linearly elongated channel formed within a table bottom for providing a linearly extendible table surface area. The table bottom is supported by removably attachable, hollow, telescopic legs and includes a lower surface forming an accessory insert receiving cavity for removably securing a foam insert which acts as a storage volume for telescoping legs and other accessories. A removably attachable, telescopic working document holder is provided for supporting documents, notes, sketches, and similar items.

Abstract: A support apparatus for rollout awnings is provided for stabilizing the support legs of an awning for recreational vehicles, mobile homes and campers. A pair of post stabilizing members includes an inner member telescoping inside an outer member for varying the length of each post stabilizing member. The inner member and the outer member are of a linearly elongated cylindrical configuration. An L-shaped stake is positioned transversely and perpendicularly along the centerline of each post stabilizing member.

Abstract: A support pillow for maintaining a hairstyle is provided which allows one to maintain his or her hairstyle while sleeping. The support pillow has a flexible cushion supported by a plastic shell stabilizer. The cushion includes a base portion which supports a toroidal portion. An oval-shaped cavity separates upper and lower circumferential edges of the toroidal portion. The oval-shaped cavity houses a domed protuberant. The toroidal portion bifurcates into a pair of downwardly directed offshoot members which merge into a bulbous portion, thereby forming a generally triangular-shaped opening which provides entrance to a hollow cavity. The hollow cavity accommodates a removable, fluffed pillow. An overlay conforms to an outer surface of the cushion and shell stabilizer.

Abstract: A disposable nail polish removal pad with handle is provided having an elongated handle bifurcating into a V-shaped base portion. The V-shaped base portion has an absorbent cotton applicator bonded to an upper surface thereof. The disposable nail polish removal pad with handle allows for the removal of nail polish from toenails in a manner which ensures that any nail polish on fingernails is not damaged.

Abstract: An interactive toy for use with pets is provided and includes a housing having a toy-like object positioned within the housing. The toy-like object is connected to a mechanical locomotion means so that the object can be selectively extended out of the housing and retracted back into the housing.

Abstract: A portable, oscillating grade determinant apparatus incorporating laser signal receiver is provided for determining proper cement elevation or slope. The apparatus has an electric motor, powered by a rechargeable battery, and actuated by a depressible switch, which turns a metal plate that is unbalanced by the removal of a pie-shaped section therefrom. This unbalanced nature produces an oscillating motion which forces a tamping plate down into freshly-poured concrete. A laser receiver receives a laser signal from a separate laser transmitter mounted on a tripod. The laser receiver includes a speaker which generates audible beeps to indicate the concrete is at proper elevation.

Abstract: An automatic attachable side-view mirror cleaning device is provided for cleaning the side-view mirrors on tractor-trailer rigs. Utilizing a rubber squeegee blade, similar to that used on windshield wipers, the blade travels up and down the long, thin mirror of a tractor-trailer rig. The squeegee scraper blade utilizes two vertical tracks which reside on the two exterior sides of the mirror and is powered by a small electric motor located under the dashboard. Additionally, washer solvent is directed at the mirror using a small pump, through jets at the top of the mirror. The solvent system would be tapped into the main solvent system of the truck using small diameter plastic tubing. The controls for both the electric drive motor and the solvent pump would be located in a dash-mounted panel inside the cab. The invention would be made available as a factory option on new trucks as well as be made available as an after-market attachment accessory for do-it-yourself installation.
