  • Patent number: 8238128
Abstract: A power converter circuitry for converting a DC voltage generated by a generator with varying output power in the mean voltage range into an alternating voltage for feeding into a grid, with several series-connected power converters, which are connected in parallel with said generator, as well as with a controllable bridging switch for each power converter, said bridging switch lying in a direct voltage intermediate circuit and bridging the respective power converter in the closed condition, is intended to be used for a photovoltaic generator. This is achieved in that a resistance chopper is connected between each power converter and the generator, no input diode being provided in the current path from the generator to the power converter, and that each bridging switch is connected in parallel with the resistance chopper in the direct voltage intermediate circuit.

  • Patent number: 8231088
Abstract: The invention relates to an integrative three-segment tripod. The tripod has a main bracket and at least one stand leg having an upper segment, a middle segment and a lower segment. The upper segment, the middle segment, and the lower segment are each telescopically connected together. The stand leg further includes a locking unit and a safety device. The locking unit fixes the middle segment to the upper segment and simultaneously fixes the lower segment to the middle segment. The safety device is associated with the locking unit and keeps the locking unit in the fixing state when the locking unit is in the locking position. Therefore, each stand leg of the tripod can be controlled easily by a single locking unit, and the safety device prevents the rotation lever from inadvertent release.

  • Patent number: 8231427
Abstract: A toy vehicle includes a chassis, a right turning member that supports a right steerable road wheel and a left turning member that supports a left steerable road wheel. A rigid steering link extends across the chassis and has right and left ends that are operably connected to the right and left turning members. An actuator provides a pivoting motion on a horizontal axis extending longitudinally forward and rearward in the vehicle. The motion provided by the actuator moves the steering link side to side across the vehicle. The right and left road wheels are pivoted by the motion of the steering link. An adjustable trim mechanism includes a bias member that helps to maintain a neutral position of the steering link and a trim adjustment that modifies a position on the chassis at which the steering link and road wheels are maintained in the neutral position.
