  • Patent number: 7406988
Abstract: An interconnect for a fuel dispensing nozzle which provides for sustained shut off of a nozzle when its spout is not inserted into the fill pipe of a fuel tank. When the spout inserts within the fill pipe its bellows or splashguard is forced rearwardly, for urging an interconnecting rod to move rearwardly, against the bias of a spring, to force a pivotal link to disengage from the automatic shut-off diaphragm, to allow it to function normally. But when the nozzle is removed from the fuel tank, the pivotal link contacts against the diaphragm structure, of the automatic shut-off, and prevents the nozzle from dispensing or delivering any fuel from the dispenser.

  • Patent number: 7402536
Abstract: A bamboo Chair pad that can be manufactured from 100% Anji Mountain bamboo from China. The bamboo is all treated with various protective coatings to add resistance to natural factors including water, sun and dirt. All bamboo chair pads can be manufactured from the harder portions of the bamboo trunk. (Some bamboo are manufactured from the softer fibers of the inside of the bamboo trunk). This portion of the bamboo trunk is not utilized for this invention. The bamboo utilized in the present invention is taken from the harder part of the bamboo trunk to assure maximum endurance and longevity. The lower trunk portion of the bamboo plant is harder and less porous.

  • Patent number: 7396060
Abstract: A pipe pulling device secures to the end of a pipe, with wedge action, for pulling by equipment. The device has a shaft, a housing upon the shaft, one or more wedges, a cone, nuts, eye nuts, O rings, and a sleeve, all arranged coaxially. First the nut is placed upon the shaft, then the housing is oriented forward. The forward end of the housing has a beveled edge to assist in passage through soil. The contractor then places a wedge of three vanes upon the shaft within the housing. A hollow cone upon the shaft contacts the wedge. An eye nut then secures the assembled parts upon the shaft. In use, a contractor tightens the nut rearward thus pulling the cone forward and expanding the wedge. The Is wedge expands to grasp the pipe between the housing and the wedge. The contractor can then pull the pipe through soil.

  • Patent number: 7396176
Abstract: The buttering device is a double walled vessel having an interior chamber containing liquid butter, a lid, and a handle. The vessel has a height sufficient to admit a corn on the cob and between the outer wall and the inner wall, an hollow annular space for heated water. The lid closes the top of the chamber and extends over the outer wall of the vessel. The lid has a center opening with flaps that admits the end of corn on the cob and the flaps glide upon the corn. Heated water placed in the annular space melts butter added to the chamber. Corn on the cob, inserted through the opening, coats itself in butter. Once buttered, the corn on the cob is withdrawn from the lid where the flaps retain excess butter within the chamber.

  • Patent number: 7374421
Abstract: Micro-regional force application improves the control of the orthodontic movement of teeth in all six degrees of freedom. Micro regional force application utilizes an elastic repositioning appliance, a tooth positioner, a polymeric shell, or preprogrammed series of polymeric shells. The key components of the invention are the envelope of freedom, the force applicators, force couplers, counterpart coupling, vector modifiers, seating guides, decouplers, and forced balance points. Further, computerized finite element analysis determines the center of resistance and the center of rotation for each tooth to be moved. The present invention gently rotates and translates one or more teeth to a desired straight position within a treatment plan.

  • Patent number: 7350871
Abstract: An accessory for use in conjunction with a utility vehicle for the lifting and hauling of equipment and supplies, including an integrated platform base, either of a grid work of supporting frames and rods, or of a solid platform type, having upright columns and bracings for support, with a hooked configuration extending forwardly from the upper end of the upright columns, formed of a series of structural member and rods, for securement onto the upper edge of the tailgate or back wall of the bin or carrier of a utility vehicle. Structural support through the use of further rods can connect onto a portion of the accessory, and be fastened structurally to the front of the utility vehicle to add additional strength to the accessory during usage.

  • Patent number: 7331210
Abstract: The loadcell live idler platform scale has an idler to support a conveyor belt and a frame on which the rollers are mounted. The weighbridge has four load cells connected perpendicular to each end of the frame, strain gauges to receive deflections from each pair of load cells, a speed detector for the material passing upon the conveyor, and a controller for converting the signals of the strain gauges and the speed detector to the desired weight and volume data along with calibrating the scale. Beneath the idler, the scale has a calibration weight resting in a tray. Two cables, attached to the idler and its mounts, suspend the calibration weight and an activator raises and lowers the calibration weight. The calibration weight and activator are generally cylindrical and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the idler.

  • Patent number: 7325337
Abstract: A changeable stripe for footwear, that can be applied to any segment of the shoe, or other clothing, or even a purse or backpack, and includes a changeable stripe that is held by means of a base, or through slots provided within the shoe, so that a pull tab connecting to the ends of the stripe can be shifted in one direction or the other to disclose different surface features of the stripe, to change or vary the coloration or design of the shown stripe. The changeable stripe may be applied directly and integrally into the structure of the shoe component, or it may be held by an independent base structure and applied by stitching or adhesive to the shoe. Each stripe may have pivotal segments that allows for turning of a portion of a stripe, so as to display other coloration. Such changeable stripes can be applied to the surface of the shoe, can be applied over the vamp of a sandal, the vamp of a beach shoe, or to other clothing or items, as desired.
