  • Patent number: 7441427
Abstract: A latch has a bushing which has at least one bushing projection or means for preventing insertion of an unauthorized tool to rotate a latch actuator of the latch. Only a key having an outer key recess which can mate with bushing projection on the bushing permits insertion of the key. The cap subassembly of the latch is provided with projections which are of a size and so positioned as to correspond with the internal recesses of the key so as to allow the cap subassembly to enter into the bore of the key and permit a mating engagement of internal recesses on the key and projections on the cap subassembly. Because cap portion rotates freely on top of the cap subassembly which is the part of the cap driven by the key, the arrangement makes it impossible, or at least very difficult, to rotate the shaft and in turn the pawl by means of a tool which rotates the cap portion.

  • Patent number: 7438212
Abstract: A container, in particular for free-flowing substances, comprising a blank (16) made of sheet-like, flexible material in particular cardboard, which can be folded at least to form part of the container, a first wall (1) and a second, adjacent wall (4) of the container, the walls (1, 4) being angled in relation to one another and being connected integrally to one another in the region of a common edge (5), it being the case that a weakening line (7) runs over each of the walls (1, 4) and surrounds the region of a reclosable pouring element (6), which is formed essentially from the material of the walls (1, 4), and that a line of inflection (15) passes through the pouring element (6), crossing over the edge (5) in the process, and divides the pouring element (6) into a pouring portion (6a) and an operating portion (6b). A container in which a greater number of opening and closing actions is made possible is provided in that the operating portion (6b) has a reinforcing element (9) in the region of the edge (5).

  • Patent number: 7437810
Abstract: A pallet P is moved in a vertically held state from a pallet-mounting surface vertically formed on a table 115 of a machine tool 101 onto a pallet-mounting surface of a pallet support member 17 that is vertically formed on a pallet exchanger 11. After a turning plate 15 is turned and indexed by 180° about the vertical axis, a pallet P? is moved from the pallet support member 17 onto the table 115.

  • Patent number: 7416673
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for conveying lime slurry, removing and controlling the amount of grit, and feeding lime slurry, wherein the lime slurry moves through a recirculation loop, and wherein gravity removal of grit from the lime slurry takes place. A stilling well is provided, inside or outside the slurry tank, either fixed in cross-sectional area or adjustable, but wherein the cross-sectional area of the stilling tank can be selected or adjusted to alter the flow velocity of slurry therethrough and the residence time of slurry therethrough, as slurry is delivered through the stilling well via a suction line located therein, whereby grit can be separated via gravity from slurry in the slurry tank prior to withdrawal of slurry through the stilling well.

  • Patent number: 7416224
Abstract: A device for fixing the sliding ring of an axial sliding ring seal for an axial rotary transmission leadthrough to a sliding ring support includes a conically tapered radial outer casing surface of the sliding ring and a holding apparatus designed as a cap nut and has a threaded section which can be screwed onto a matching external thread in the end area of the sliding ring support and also has a holding section which has a conically running internal surface which is matched to the conical casing surface of the corresponding sliding ring. The device has a higher degree of reliability and durability and is sufficiently space-saving to be able to replace existing rotary transmission leadthroughs in which the sliding rings are glued to the sliding ring supports.

  • Patent number: 7399009
Abstract: A load floor latch for securing a first closure member to a second closure member panel such that when the first and second closure members are fastened, the latch is opened by actuating the handle and the pawl is retracted into the latch. A biasing device such as a torsion spring acts on a locking arm so as to pivot the locking arm such that it engages a slot on the pawl. This maintains the pawl in the retracted position. When the first closure member to which the latch is attached is closed so as to bring the first closure member into a closed position with respect to the second closure member, a projection on the locking arm contacts a contact member such that the locking arm is pivoted and the locking arm no longer remains in the slot in the pawl. The pawl is then free to extend out of the latch to a latched position by the action of a compression spring and engage a keeper on the second closure member to thus fasten the first and second closure members.

  • Patent number: 7397674
Abstract: A latch for a Compact PCI board, which incorporates inject and eject and engage and disengage functions, has a low profile shape, whereof a fold-down handle operates through a total arc of 90 degrees. Enhanced electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is provided, by more efficient EMC shielding and by reduced electromagnetic force (EMF) radiation pass-through. The latch, in its inject/eject operation, undergoes a two-phase motion, which utilizes a rotary motion to insert/extract the board from electrical connection, and utilizes a linear motion to engage/disengage the latch pawl from the chassis (keeper). A separate alignment pin block, normally carrying a lead guide pin and a seating guide pin, is independent of the structure for the base of the latch. This permits the alignment pin block to be mounted to the inside of the faceplate and the latch to be mounted to the outside of the faceplate.

At least one multifunctional barrier coating is applied to the joining surfaces of a base material layer for the microstructured component layers. The layers are made of aluminum/aluminum alloys and/or copper/copper alloys, and/or noble steels. At least one solder/brazing coating is applied to each barrier coating. The coated base material layers comprising the component layers are stacked. The stacked component layers are joined by solder/brazing using heat. The melting temperature of the solder/brazing coating is higher after the heat joining than before same.
