  • Patent number: 8264593
Abstract: A camera device (1) includes an AF value calculating unit (14), a focus position determining unit (15), and an LED control unit (16). The AF value calculating unit (14) calculates an AF value from a camera image captured by an image imaging element (2). The focus position determining unit (15) determines a correct focus position based on the AF value. The LED control unit (16) controls light emission of an LED (13) provided in a main body (4) and indicates the correct focus position to a user. This allows to assist the user in focus adjustment by means of a light emitter provided in the main body. Thus, the camera device which allows the user by himself to adjust focus with ease without the help of others is provided.

  • Patent number: 8258675
Abstract: A detection sensor (10) includes: plural beam-like resonators (30A, 30B), a vibration characteristic of which changes according to adsorption or sticking of a substance having a mass and one end of each of which is fixed; a driving unit (40) that vibrates the resonators; and a detecting unit (40) that detects a change in the vibration in the resonators to detect the substance. The plural resonators have lengths different from one another. When the length of an arbitrary resonator is represented as L, a difference ?L between the length L and the length of the other resonators is set to satisfy the following condition: 2(?L/L)>1/Q (Q represents a Q factor of the resonators). The driving unit vibrates the respective plural resonators at frequencies corresponding to resonant frequencies of the resonators.

  • Patent number: 8258446
Abstract: A power control unit for high-frequency dielectric heating is provided. The power control includes an input current detection section for detecting input current from an AC power supply to an inverter circuit and outputting input current waveform information. A conversion section converts the input current waveform information into a drive signal of the switching transistor of the inverter circuit so that instantaneous fluctuation of the input current waveform information is suppressed. An input voltage detection section detects input voltage from the AC power supply to the inverter circuit and outputs input voltage waveform information. A selection section selects the input current waveform information or the input voltage waveform information, whichever is larger. The conversion section also converts the selected input current waveform information or input voltage waveform information into the drive signal of the switching transistor of the inverter circuit.

  • Patent number: 8261169
Abstract: The invention is embodied for solving a problem of occurrence of degradation of the reception characteristic caused by the interference signal component if a symbol making a determination error is contained or if an error factor caused by a propagation channel estimation error or a hardware error (carrier frequency error, sampling frequency error) is contained at the interference canceling time in a wireless communication apparatus for iteratively decoding and receiving a spatial multiplex signal. A wireless communication apparatus 100 according to the invention has an error estimator 13 for estimating an error of a replica signal at the interference canceling time and a weighter 14 for weighting likelihood information for a spatial multiplex signal separated and combined after interference is canceled based on output of the error estimator 13, whereby if an error of the replica signal at the interference canceling time is contained, a good reception characteristic can be provided.
