Abstract: A toy scissors apparatus for modeling compound. The scissors apparatus has two handles, each handle connected to a respective mounting cap and to a respective rotatable scissor blade. Each of the blades is rotatable about its longitudinal axis between two positions about 180° apart so as to enable a choice of two different cutting edge regions for use. To alter cutting edges, the blade is pulled away from the mounting cap against a biasing force created by a spring, and then rotated.
Abstract: An entertainment apparatus and methods propelling toy vehicles about multiple tracks providing a variety of play modes while mechanically driven by a single motor and simple belt sub-system. A motor and a plurality of adjacent discs disposed in the same horizontal plane are mechanically engaged with the motor for rotating the discs simultaneously in the same direction. An object alternately engages each of the plurality of discs and at least one transition area is adjacent the plurality of discs and disposed in the same horizontal plane for facilitating the action of the object about the plurality of discs. One or more objects are propelled about one or more tracks providing a variety of play modes.

Abstract: A game apparatus for an abstract strategy pattern building board game that has two walls, each with multiple apertures. A number of dividers are intermediate the two wall and form multiple channels disposed along the two walls. The dividers also form multiple gaps defined by spaces between the channels. Two sets of playing markers are used to build patterns during game play. One set of playing markers fills a single channel along one wall, and one set of playing markers fills two channels and a gap in between the two channels.
Abstract: A toy drive mechanism having extensions such as leg and neck members covered with a plush covering. The drive mechanism is operative to move the leg, back, and head members in coordinated movements imitating an animal tugging or pulling on a rope. The realistic movement is provided by a series of rotating devices, some on differing axes relative to the drive shaft, and an information processor activated by one or more switches located throughout the body. One switch in particular, located between the neck and head and motivated by a user pulling on the rope in the toy's mouth, will cause the toy to exert a pulling motion accompanied by sound effects.

Abstract: A suspended game piece construction game having a game assembly including a suspended ring assembly to which a plurality of game pieces may be attached in a multitude of different orientations and compositions. A base assembly is placed upon a flat surface, and serves as a support for the rest of the game assembly. An elongated linear member is mounted vertically to the top of the base assembly. A ring assembly is placed about the elongated linear member, and is free to move up and down along the elongated linear member. A top assembly is mounted to the top end of the elongated linear tube, and supports the ring assembly at the top of the elongated linear member during gameplay. A plurality of game pieces have features which allow them to be attached to the ring or to each other. During gameplay, players take turns attaching game pieces to the ring assembly, or to other game pieces that have already been attached. Players attempt to attach the pieces so as to avoid causing the ring assembly to fall.
Abstract: A toy or game apparatus that includes a base in the shape of a cupcake, a simulated flame structure movable between an exposed-to-view position and a hidden-to-view position within a simulated candle structure, a support structure mounted to the base with a top edge in contact with a bottom edge of the flame structure to support the flame structure in the exposed position, a reset structure having a slanted top surface to enable the flame structure to move to the support structure and have the top edge of the support structure engage the bottom edge of the flame structure, the candle structure being depressible for moving the support structure relative to the reset structure, and a spring for raising the flame structure and the support structure so that the flame structure is again exposed, is disclosed and described.

Abstract: A game assembly for housing a foldable game board which is quickly and conveniently secured to an open configuration for game play through the use of a spring loaded flexible hinge. The game assembly includes a first base portion, a second base portion capable of cooperating with the first base portion between an open and a closed configuration, and at least one hinge assembly mounted at a first end to the first base portion and at a second end to the second base portion. The hinge assembly includes a flexible strap and biasing element capable of tensioning the flexible strap to maintain the first and second base portions with respect to each other in an open configuration.
Abstract: An Indiana Jones theme board game having a tower supporting a plurality of collapsible stairs mounted in a spiral fashion, a deck of chance cards, dice, and pawns for the players. A tower top is mounted to the upper portion of the tower for rotation and downward vertical movement. A tube is mounted within the tower, and a number of pegs are mounted in the tower wall, one peg supporting a corresponding stair. The tube and pegs cooperate to transmit the rotational and vertical movement of the tower top to the collapsible stairs. The player picks a card and follows instructions printed on the card. During the game, certain cards instruct the players to rotate the tower top, causing openings in the outer wall of the tube to be located adjacent different combination of pegs, the combination being hidden and unknown to the players, such that the next vertical movement of the tower top and the tube results in an unknown combination of stairs to collapse.

Abstract: A game apparatus for a strategic pattern building board game with a feature for ejecting playing markers is defined. The game board has a multiplicity of channels having a first end and an opposite second end for receiving and ejecting playing markers respectively. The multiplicity of channels may be disposed between a first wall having a multiplicity of first apertures that define a matrix within the first wall and a second wall having a multiplicity of second apertures juxtaposed relative to the first wall. One or more openings disposed at the second end allow a player to eject playing markers. A retainer may be used to maintain playing markers in the matrix, and the retainer may comprise a pivoting and shifting set of bars that allows or prevents ejecting and emptying the matrix of playing markers. Some playing markers have indicia that define game play.
