  • Patent number: 4025074
Abstract: This invention is a mini-dome basketball game including an enclosure structure resembling a basketball court having an actuator structure with a plurality of actuator flipper members operable to contact a ball member to propell the same upwardly and forwardly towards a basket member to simulate a basketball game. The playing area is enclosed by a clear plastic dome to maintain the ball member therewithin and includes a score device mounted on the enclosure means operable to keep score between the players similar to a regulation basketball game. The actuator flipper members includes one for each of the two players and a third free-throw zone to propell the ball member toward the basket member in free-throw situations.

  • Patent number: 4009703
Abstract: This invention is a trigger release mechanism usable with a bow and arrow assembly being initially operable 1) to grasp the bow string to pull the same backwards and then 2) to instantaneously and accurately release the bow string through operation thereof. The trigger release mechanism includes a housing assembly; an actuator assembly operably connected to a cam assembly with both mounted within the housing assembly; and an adjustment assembly mounted within the housing assembly. The actuator assembly includes a plunger member operably connected to a main actuator member which, in turn, is operably associated with the cam assembly. Axial movement of the plunger assembly permits rotation of the cam assembly to release the bow string. The adjustment assembly is operable to adjust 1) the resistance to axial movement of the plunger member and 2) amount of axial movement of the plunger member required before release of the bow string through the cam assembly.

  • Patent number: 3981542
Abstract: An electrical brake control system for a towed vehicle having an electric brake, where the control system is actuated by the hydraulic brake system in the towing vehicle. The electrical brake control system includes a hydraulic pressure transducer having a hydraulic input connected to the hydraulic brake system of the towing vehicle and an electrical output proportional to the hydraulic pressure developed by the hydraulic system. A comparator circuit has first and second inputs and an output. A circuit connects the first input to the electrical output of the hydraulic pressure transducer and a second circuit connects the output from the comparator circuit to the electrically operated brake in the towed vehicle. A feedback system connects the electrically operated brake to the second input of the comparator circuit such that the comparator circuit always maintains the feedback voltage to the second input substantially identical with the voltage of the first input.
