  • Patent number: 7323235
Abstract: The present invention is an multi-strip promotional piece that can be used as an insert for a food product package and that includes a number of printed strips releasably secured to one another by an adhesive. The strips each include an inner polymeric film layer printed on one or both sides and having an outer polymeric film layer secured over one of the sides of the inner polymeric film layer. The first polymeric film layer is releasably securable to a first polymeric film layer of the adjacent strip such that the inks printed on the first film layers of the strips are kept in a sealed configuration within the insert while the strips are secured to one another within the package.

  • Patent number: 7285699
Abstract: A gene targeting method for use in a host organism whereby the host organism is transfected with an ends-out donor construct. Further transfecting the host organism with two transgenes expressing endonuclease and recombinase enzymes. The endonuclease and recombinase enzymes are used so that homologous recombination occurs between the DNA segment of the donor construct and a selected gene of the host organism, thus forming a host with containing the recombinogenic donor. The progeny of the host organism, which include the recombinogenic donor are then selected.

  • Patent number: 7252558
Abstract: The present invention includes a portable power supply having a housing that encloses a battery. Booster cables protrude from the housing and are electrically connected to the battery. Electrical clamps are attached to the booster cables and may connect to electrical terminals. The housing may include a clamp anchor integral thereto. The clamp anchor may include an anchor base and an anchor finger, wherein the anchor finger is generally perpendicular to the anchor base. The electrical clamp may be secured on the clamp anchor. The present invention further includes a booster cable with an electrical clamp that has a clamp cover rotatably mounted on the electrical clamp. The clamp cover may cover some of the electrically conductive portions of the electrical clamp and/or provide additional positioning of the electrical clamp on the clamp anchor.

  • Patent number: 7191244
Abstract: The system and method for streaming media to a viewer and managing the media comprises and an enhanced service routing processor (ESRP), a real time switch management system (RTSMS), a name routing processor (NRP), and a managed media switch (MMS). The RTSMS has a reservation system. The ESRP receives media from an owner, manages the media according to media rules and order rules defined by the owner, and distributes the media to one or more switches, such as the MMS, according to the media rules and the order rules. The RTSMS is configured to receive the media rules and to receive a viewer's media request via the reservation server. The reservation system of the RTSMS processes the media request according to the media rules and builds a reservation for the requested media. The RTSMS generates the reservation to the viewer and to the NRP. The NRP receives the reservation data from the viewer and from the RTSMS. The NRP processes the reservation data and locates an MMS that can stream the media to the viewer.
