Abstract: The invention is a device for measuring angle of slant surface of an optical component and a method used therein. The slant surface of the optical component faces exactly toward the slant surface of a standard GRIN Lens and the optical component is spaced from the standard GRIN Lens by a fixed distance. Laser beams are irradiated into the vertical surface of the standard GRIN Lens and then generate two oval projections on a screen by reflection off the slant surface of the standard GRIN Lens and the slant surface of the optical component, respectively. Therefore, the angle of the slant surface of the optical component can be obtained according to the specification of the standard GRIN Lens and the dimensions of the two oval projections.

Abstract: The invention provides a rapid phrase identification method, especially for Spanish derivatives. The main concern of the present invention is to provide for an electronic Spanish dictionary device a means for quickly identifying a derivative without demanding large memory space for storing all the Spanish vocabulary, etymons and derivatives. All the transformation rules from etymons to derivatives have been collected, classified and reversed to give reversion rules. These reversion rules are sorted and indexed into a look-up table for searching. A rapid searching method pursuant to this look-up table is proposed.

Abstract: An automatic device for assembling a fiber collimator. The fiber collimator includes a tubular holder, an optical fiber disposed at an end of the tubular holder, and a GRIN lens disposed at the other end of the tubular holder. The automatic device includes a screen, a laser light-source and a driving table. The laser light source emits a laser light to the GRIN lens to obtain a first elliptic pattern and a second elliptic pattern on the screen, wherein the first elliptic pattern has a first major axis and the second elliptic pattern having a second major axis. The driving table rotates the optical fiber until the first major axis of the first elliptic pattern is parallel to the second major axis of the second elliptic pattern.

A half bridge converter includes two power transistors connected in series. An output is formed in a middle between the two power transistors. The output is controllable by the signal from the PWM controller to perform alternating opening and closing. A resonance circuit generates a sine-wave voltage to empower the lighting element. A feedback circuit includes a resistor. When a load varies, a voltage signal generated between two ends of the resistor of the feedback circuit timely changes a conductive time of the power transistors of the half bridge converter to complete regulation of current passing through the lighting element.
