Patent number: 8308368Abstract: A self-lubricating track roller and a method of making the self-lubricating track roller are disclosed. First, an inner ring is provided having a radially outwardly facing surface. A parting agent is applied onto the radially outwardly facing surface. Next, a self-lubricating material is applied over the radially outwardly facing surface. Then, an outer ring is formed around the self-lubricating material such that a radially inwardly facing surface of the outer ring is bonded to the self-lubricating material. A resilient tire is bonded onto the radially outwardly facing surface of the outer ring. In the resulting track roller, the radially outwardly facing surface of the inner ring has a surface profile that corresponds to a mating surface profile of the self-lubricating material that is bonded to the radially inwardly facing surface of the outer ring.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 2008Date of Patent: November 13, 2012Assignee: Rexnord Industries, LLCInventors: David W. Patent number: 8306299Abstract: A method for reconstructing a motion-compensated image depicting a subject with a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system is provided. An MRI system is used to acquire a time series of k-space data from the subject by sampling k-space along non-Cartesian trajectories, such as radial, spiral, or other trajectories at a plurality of time frames. Those time frames at which motion occurred are identified and this information used to segment the time series into a plurality of k-space data subsets. For example, the k-space data subsets contain k-space data acquired at temporally adjacent time frames that occur between those identified time frames at which motion occurred. Motion correction parameters are determined from the k-space data subsets. Using the determined motion correction parameters, the k-space data subsets are corrected for motion. The corrected data subsets are combined to form a corrected k-space data set, from which a motion-compensated image is reconstructed.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 2011Date of Patent: November 6, 2012Assignee: Wisconsin Alumni Research FoundationInventors: Alexey A Samsonov, Ashley G Anderson, III, Julia Velikina
