    Abstract: A detecting device is used to detect the connection of an electronic device. The detecting device includes a circuit board and a connector module. The circuit board includes a power terminal and a signal processing unit. The connector module includes a body and a detecting member. The body has a connecting port and a connecting sidewall. The detecting member is disposed on the connecting sidewall and electrically connected to the power terminal and the signal processing unit, and it has a potential. When a plug of the electronic device is connected to the connecting port, the plug contacts the detecting member to change the potential. The change of the potential is detected by the signal processing unit such that the connection between the electronic device and the connector module is confirmed.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a planar inverted-F antenna with an extended grounding plane. The planar inverted-F antenna has a grounding metal plate having a selected side edge on which the extended grounding plane is formed and has a predetermined height. At least one antenna signal radiating plate is connected to the grounding metal plate by a short-circuit piece and is substantially parallel to and spaced from the grounding metal plate by a distance. A feeding point extends from the antenna signal radiating plate in a direction toward the grounding metal plate and corresponds to the extended grounding plane with a predetermined gap therebetween. With the arrangement of the extended grounding plane, the impedance matching of the antenna is improved and the impedance bandwidth of the antenna is increased.

A plurality of hemispherical grain structures are formed on a sidewall of the patterned second mask layer. The first mask layer is etched by using the hemispherical grain structures and the patterned second mask layer as a mask, thereby forming a patterned first mask layer having a pattern. The pattern of the first mask layer is transferred to the bottom electrode material layer. And, a capacitor dielectric layer and a top electrode layer are formed on the bottom electrode material layer to form the capacitor.

The clamping circuit, coupled to the output of the operational amplifier, clamps the output voltage level of the operational amplifier to a predetermined range. When the detecting node floats, the output voltage level of the clamping circuit is at logic high.

    Abstract: A fabrication method of a memory device is disclosed. A substrate having a trench is provided, comprising a trench capacitor, a conductive column, a collar dielectric layer and a top dielectric layer therein. A gate structure with spacers on sidewalls is disposed on the substrate and neighboring the trench. An opening is formed on the substrate between the collar dielectric layer and the gate structure. Next, a portion of the top dielectric layer and the collar dielectric layer is removed to expose a portion of the conductive column. An insulating layer is deposited on the gate structure and the exposed conductive column, filling the opening. The insulating layer is etched to expose a portion of the capacitor-side region of the substrate and the conductive column. A transmissive strap is formed by selective deposition, electrically connecting the capacitor-side region of the substrate and the conductive column.
