  • Patent number: 7770449
Abstract: A resistive-type humidity sensing structure with microbridge includes a substrate, a sensing portion, and two measuring electrodes. An isolated layer and a bridge are respectively formed on the substrate. The sensing portion includes a resistive and humidity sensing layer. Two measuring electrodes are formed on the resistive sensing layer corresponding to the bridge, so as to fix the sensing portion on the first isolated layer for measuring resistance values of the resistive sensing layer. The material of the humidity sensing layer changes its volume according to humidity, the length of the resistive sensing layer covered by the humidity sensing layer is warped, and the changes of the length of the material for the resistive sensing layer causes variations of the resistance value. Finally, two measuring electrodes are used to measure the humidity value.

  • Patent number: 7769095
Abstract: An apparatus for timing recovery in an OFDM system comprises a third order phase lock loop comprising a Fast Fourier Transform stage for receiving a number of input signals in the time domain and transforming the signals to the frequency domain. A phase rotation stage adjusts the phase of one or more of the transformed signals. A frequency offset estimation stage estimates frequency offset between sampled signals and a first accumulator accumulates the frequency offset estimates. A low pass filter couplable to an output of the first accumulator stabilizes the phase lock loop. A second accumulator accumulates outputs of the low pass filter and controls phase rotation in the phase rotation stage. A controller controls timing associated with the window of operation of the Fast Fourier Transform process and is itself controlled by the second accumulator. There is also disclosed a receiver comprising the above apparatus and a method for timing recovery in an OFDM system.

  • Patent number: 7769301
Abstract: Technology is provided in which, by performing time gate processing using a clock signal with time jitter suppressed, time and intensity fluctuations which in the prior art had been observed in auto-correlated signals after time gate processing are reduced. In a decoder, received optical code division multiplexed signals are divided into two, one of which is reflected as a decoded signal, and the other of which is transmitted as an encoded signal in the encoded state. In the clock extraction circuit, encoded signals are divided into first encoded signals and second encoded signals. In the first clock signal generation portion, first clock signals are generated from the first encoded signals, and optical pulses synchronized with the first clock signals are extracted from the second encoded signals, and second clock signals are generated from the extracted optical pulses.

  • Patent number: 7765099
Abstract: A band recovering device recovers frequency components lying in a frequency band lost due to band-limitation of a sound signal. The device includes a peak-limiting amplifier for amplifying an input narrow-band signal while preventing the resulting amplified signal from exceeding a maximum amplitude. A peak-limitation detector detects the level of the amplified signal output. An amplification controller increases the amplification factor and/or the amount of amplification of the peak-limiting amplifier in accordance with the level of the amplified signal. A band recovering circuit generates, based on the amplified signal output from the peak-limiting amplifier and input narrow-band signal, a band-recovered signal including the frequency components lying in the missing band.

  • Patent number: 7764519
Abstract: Control circuit and method for controlling a switching power supply, which regulates its output voltage using pulse-width modulation (PWM) that switches on and off a main switch with a PWM signal (VCONT) at an adjusted ON-period ratio of the main switch. The control circuit includes an error signal amplifier circuit that compares the output voltage with a reference voltage and outputs an error signal VE based on the comparison. The control circuit also includes an ON-period adjusting circuit that starts generating a PWM signal (VCONT) in every cycle based on a pulse VPULSE, the period thereof being fixed, and adjusts the HIGH-period of the PWM signal (VCONT) based on the output voltage of the error signal VE. As a result, the control circuit widens the HIGH-period ratio range or the LOW-period ratio range of the PWM signal greatly.
