    Abstract: A method for fabricating a liquid crystal display (LCD) is provided. The method includes the steps stated below. At first, providing an LCD panel including a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal layer therebetween. The liquid crystal layer includes several photo-sensitive monomers and several liquid crystal molecules. The LCD panel has at least a first pixel and a second pixel. Afterwards, correspondingly driving the first pixel and the second pixel by the first voltage and the second voltage. At last, applying a ultra-violet source onto the LCD panel to enable several photo-sensitive monomers to polymerize several alignment polymers on the first substrate and the second substrate.

The stress testing method can make the file system display storage devices without a drive letter, and call appropriate testing methods and stressing strategies for different types of storage devices, so the depth and scope of the stress testing for file system are expanded, the accuracy of the test is enhanced, and the problem of occupying too many system resources is avoided.

The first MOSFET has a drain connected to the first terminal, a gate connected to the second terminal, and a source connected to the second terminal. The at least one ESD protection circuit also includes at least one second MOSFET of the MOSFETs formed adjacent to the first MOSFET on the silicon substrate.

    Abstract: A packet including data and a cyclic redundancy check code is encoded by using a selectable one of N scrambling codes (N>1). The encoded packet is transmitted and received, then decoded N times by using the N scrambling codes. The cyclic redundancy check code is used to decide which one of the N scrambling codes enabled the encoded packet to be decoded correctly, and the correctly decoded data are used. Packets with different formats, in particular with headers of different lengths, can be distinguished by the use of different scrambling codes, so that different formats can be employed without the need to transmit extra data to indicate which format has been used.

    Abstract: A NICAM system includes a NICAM deframer, a FIFO buffer and a symbol rate conversion (SRC) unit. The NICAM deframer obtains multiple deinterleaved symbols according to a strobe signal and a data signal in each timing and expands the deinterleaved symbols to corresponding multiple pulse code modulation (PCM) symbols. The FIFO buffer temporarily stores the symbols and outputs the PCM symbols at a local timing, rate. The SRC unit determines whether a SRC function is enabled according to the statuses of the symbols in the FIFO buffer every a constant time interval. When the SRC function is enabled, the SRC unit interpolates the PCM symbols to obtain multiple new PCM symbols and outputs the new PCM symbols at the local timing rate.

    Abstract: An organic EL display is constituted by providing a stress-relieving layer made of a material having a higher elastisity and a lower refractive index than an adhesive layer at edges of color-converting filters that are constituted from color filter layers alone, or color filter layers and color-converting layers, and are formed on a transparent supporting substrate. As a result, stress arising when bonding the color-converting filters and the organic light-emitting device together, or when there are changes in the environment in which the display is placed is absorbed by the stress-relieving layer, and hence the light-emitting device is not damaged, and moreover reflection at walls of the stress-relieving layer is promoted, and hence there is a reduction in the component of the light emitted by the light-emitting device that escapes sideways. An organic EL display having high reliability and high efficiency is thus provided.

A servo process is provided by the system and method to continuously record a holographic interferogram in a holographic recording medium with servo trace layers. By analyzing the distribution, one can adjust the distance and the incidence angle between the reflection mirror and the reference beam. Moreover, a plurality of servo tracks on different layers are provided for recording the holographic interferogram on different layers of holographic recording medium.

When the receiving terminal found that an error rate of the PDU is excessively high, a second data message PDU length is calculated, and the transmitting terminal is informed to use the most appropriate PDU length to transmit data. The data transmission system dynamically adjusts the PDU length to achieve the effect of enhancing the data transmission capacity, so as to solve the problems concerning power consumption and interference between users caused by the process of enhancing the data transmission capacity by way of increasing the transmission power.

The frame has several pixels, and the image data of each pixel include a luminance and a chrominance. The diagonal edge detector is used for determining whether target pixel is on a diagonal edge according to the luminance of the target pixel and that of its neighboring pixels. The cross color detector is used for determining whether the chrominance of the target pixel is substantially different from that of its neighboring pixels. If both the determination results of the diagonal edge detector and the cross color detector are true, the chrominance suppressing unit suppresses the chrominance of the target pixel and its neighboring pixels.
