Abstract: A method for creating a hand colorable panel with a set of indicia for guiding the user in coloring to create the image. The method includes providing an image in digital form into a memory in a programmable computer, assigning pixel locations to the image, assigning color or shade palette values to the pixel locations, and printing, under the control of the programmable computer, indicia representing the color or shade palette values on a panel, so that a user colors over the indicia, using colors assigned to the indicia to create a hand-colored image on the panel.
Abstract: A shielded pushbutton lock that includes housing that supports a lock cylinder connected to a key operated pushbutton. The pushbutton is shielded by way of a rotatable collar that extends over the pushbutton and shields the pushbutton, so that a thief may not defeat the pushbutton lock mechanism by attempting to rotate the pushbutton in order to allow operation of the latch mechanism.
Abstract: A gaming system and method based on a Blackjack card game using a dealer hold criteria and allowing a single player at a location to play blackjack against a plurality of dealers from a casino. The system and method allows the player to select the number of dealer hand positions, a player hand position, wager placement positions corresponding with each dealer hand position. The system compares, based on the rules of Blackjack, the player hold hand to each dealer hold hand to determine if the player hold hand wins over any of the dealer hold hands. The single player is then credited for each dealer hold hand that is beat by the player hold hand and the casino is credited for each dealer hold hand that is not beat by a player hold hand, so that the single player carries out multiple games of blackjack based on the player hold hand.
Abstract: A restraint system for use on a vehicle's seat to better restrain by providing belts and belt guiding components to restrain a person in the event of an accident. The system uses a flexible, generally rectangular sheet having an upper surface, a lower surface, the rectangular sheet further having an upper edge, a lower edge and a mid-section between the upper edge and the lower edge, the lower edge of the rectangular sheet being adapted for attachment to the upper edge of the rectangular sheet. A set of shoulder-belts extending from the rectangular sheet at a location between the mid-section of the rectangular sheet and the upper edge of the rectangular sheet, the shoulder-belts are adapted for attaching to the lap-belt, so that they will extend from the rectangular sheet to the lap-belt, and so that the person is held against the rectangular sheet by the shoulder-belts and the lap-belt.
Abstract: A needle-less injection system that uses an ampule with an elongated hollow body. The elongated hollow body including a nozzle and an aperture for accepting a plunger, the aperture for accepting a plunger extends from the second end towards the first end and is in fluid communication with the nozzle. The ampule cooperates with a generally cylindrical plunger. The plunger includes a first end and a second end, and a concave rib. The concave rib is extends about the perimeter of the plunger and extends towards the first end of the plunger.
Abstract: A blind or device for concealing the presence of a person, which include a flexible sheet of material, the sheet of material having a first side having an image of an animal such as a domesticated animal. The flexible sheet of material further having a perimeter, at least most of the perimeter being supported by a frame. The frame will be made from resilient sections that connect to one another and pull most of the flexible sheet of material taut. The blind may further include a handle mounted within the perimeter of the flexible sheet. The handle will cooperate with the frame to allow a user to support the entire weight of the blind while supporting the blind in front of the user's body and concealing the user's body behind the blind.
Abstract: A turbine engine that includes a housing having a circular cavity of an inlet and an outlet that provide fluid communication to and from the circular cavity. A rotor having a circular body and least one sealing fin extending from the circular body to the cavity wall of the circular cavity. A gas delivered into to the circular cavity causes the fin to move as it expands in the circular cavity. A sealing flap may also be incorporated into the system in order to ensure that gasses are directed against the fin. A valving system for use with the turbine is also disclosed.
Abstract: A book-marking device for marking one or more page locations in a book.
