Abstract: The present invention is a penile prosthesis device and a non-surgical method of implantation of the device into a penis. The prosthesis device is designed to be an elastic mantle to be implanted directly into the corpus cavenosum cavity. The prosthesis device contains an elongated tube plugged at both ends and fillable with a biocompatible liquid. The liquid may be pre-filled or injected into a implanted prosthesis device to achieve the resilience and feel of the penis. The invention includes a balloon which is inserted into the corpus cavenosum cavity and a pump is used to pressurize the cavity and achieve a cylindrical expansion of the form of the penis. The invention also includes an elastic mantle having a unit including a plurality of magnets to achieve rigidity, thereby causing the penis to become erect.

Abstract: Chromium containing natural compositions are isolated and purified from natural sources including yeast. Compositions of chromium containing natural compounds are formulated for use in animals and humans. Methods for use of the chromium containing compounds alone, or in combination with other antioxidant agents, for regulating glucose and lipid levels in diabetes, CVD, inflammatory and cell proliferative diseases and in skin conditions, are presented.

Abstract: A cassette reader for detecting the status of stained samples is provided. The colorimeter includes one or more high power emitting diodes as the source of illuminating the sample. An elliptical mirror, with a central aperture to permit the light to penetrate on to the sample, directs the scattered light on to its focal point at a detector. The colorimeter includes a microprocessor which compares an output signal for the percent ratio value of the detected values of a sample and a standard sample. The colorimeter housing provides position sensors which allow the identification of the well being examined. Finally, the system is modified to measure cell motility by determining the ratio of motile sperms to total cell concentration.

Abstract: Starting from a mooring assembly with a fixed mooring point and the combination of at least one rigid arm which, in the moored position, lies above the water surface, a rigid connecting element connected by means of a pivot point therewith and being essentially vertical at rest, and a weight, connected to the assembly and producing at movements of the floating body to and from the mooring point resetting forces acting upon this body in that the ends of the rigid arm and the connecting element respectively, opposite the first pivot point, are connected either with the mooring point on the one hand and the floating body on the other hand or with the floating body on the one hand and the mooring point on the other hand, the invention proposes that the weight is connected to the rigid connecting element. As a result the structure of the rigid arm can be simpler and the assembly will be easier to use.
