Abstract: The electrode wire according to the invention comprises a brass core (1) covered with a ? phase brass coating (2) having a structure fragmented into blocks (2a) between which the core (1) is exposed. The blocks (2a) have a thickness (E2) with a narrow distribution and produce a coverage of the core (1) according to a coverage rate greater than 50%. This produces a regular fragmentation of the coating, which improves the finish state of the machined parts.

Abstract: An acoustic wave device includes a piezoelectric substrate, an IDT electrode on the substrate, an internal electrode above the substrate, a side wall above the internal electrode, a lid on the side wall, an electrode base layer on the internal electrode, a connection electrode on the electrode base layer, and an anti-corrosion layer between the internal electrode and the side wall. The internal electrode is electrically connected to the IDT electrode. The side wall surrounds the IDT electrode. The lid covers the IDT electrode to provide a space above the IDT electrode. The electrode base layer is provided outside the space and the side wall. The anti-corrosion layer protrudes outside the side wall, and is made of material less soluble in plating solution than the internal electrode. This acoustic wave device prevents the internal electrode from breaking due to plating solution, hence being manufactured at a high yield rate.

Abstract: An air guide device for a motor vehicle, especially a rear spoiler, which can be moved between a retracted, nonoperating position and an extended, operating position and comprises an air guide body, on which two lateral air guide body sections, which can be moved in the transverse direction of the vehicle, are arranged. Abstract: An apparatus for providing breathing gas to a patient that includes a base unit to provide a first flow of gas and a second flow of gas and a humidification canister to be coupled to the base unit is described. The humidification canister includes a first gas flow path to receive and humidify the first flow of gas. A delivery tube assembly includes a first lumen configured for fluid communication with the first gas flow path to receive the humidified first flow of gas and a second lumen to receive the second flow of gas. Abstract: Methods of spectral partitioning which may be implemented in an encoder are described. The methods comprise determining an estimate of bit requirements for each of a plurality of spectral sub-bands. These estimates are then used to group the sub-bands into two or more regions by minimizing a cost function. This cost function is based on the estimates of bit requirements for each sub-band and the estimates may include estimates of code bit requirements and/or additional code bit requirements for each sub-band. These estimates may be determined in many different ways and a number of methods are described.

Abstract: A plasma display device includes a plasma display panel, a chassis disposed on the plasma display panel with a heat-conducting sheet in between, a small-signal processing circuit board disposed on a rear face of the chassis, a thermal sensor, a thermal sensor fixture for installing the thermal sensor, a front frame, and a back cover having a ventilation area with multiple ventilating holes. The thermal sensor fixture has a shielding wall around the thermal sensor and is disposed on a rear face of the small-signal processing circuit board. The thermal sensor is disposed at an intermediate position between the plasma display panel and the back cover at a position facing the back cover.
Abstract: Traffic light installations for producing meta information on the basis of input information about the surroundings of the traffic light installation. The traffic light installation acts as a data pool and can independently reproduce a road section using the information which it has measured or which it has obtained from adjacent vehicles. In addition, the traffic light installation can use the input information to produce meta information which is communicated to other vehicles and thus results in a constant flow of traffic.
