Abstract: Collapsible structures are provided having at least two panels, with each of the panels having a flexible loop member defining a closed loop and adapted to assume an expanded position and a collapsed position, and a fabric for partially covering the loop member. The loop members of two adjacent first and second panels overlap each other at a first overlapping point along first edges of the loop members, and at a second overlapping point along second edges of the loop members, with the overlapping loop members defining a hinge portion about which the two loop members of the first and second panels are pivotable.
Abstract: An apparatus has a collapsible base that assumes a deployed position and a collapsed position where the base has a smaller size than in the deployed configuration. A surface is removably attached to the base. The base includes a frame system that includes a plurality of struts that are hingedly connected to each other. The surface can be used as a sleeping surface, a table top, a game surface, or for other similar purposes.
Abstract: An apparatus has a first section having a hollow interior that is filled with air, and a second section attached to the top of the first section and having a hollow interior that retains a liquid.
Abstract: A communication system for use with a motorcycle includes a main unit that has a detector and a transmitter that transmits an alert signal upon the detection of a radar or laser by the detector. The system further includes either a visual indicator or an audio indicator. The visual indicator has a receiver that receives the alert signal from the transmitter, and a display which provides a visual display of the alert signal. The audio indicator has a receiver that receives the alert signal from the transmitter, and a speaker which emits an auditory response of the alert signal. The system can further include a mounting assembly having a connector that is removably connected to a part of a motorcycle, a support bracket to which the main unit is removably coupled, and a link that pivotably couples the support bracket and the connector.

Abstract: A trash can assembly has a shell, a base secured to the bottom end of the shell, and a pedal assembly coupled to the base. The pedal assembly has a pair of parallel side bars pivotably secured to the base and spaced apart from each other to define an unoccupied space therebetween, and a foot pedal that is secured to the front portion of the side bars.
Abstract: A collapsible structure has at least three foldable frame members, each having a folded and an unfolded orientation. The structure has a fabric material covering portions of each frame member to form a panel for each frame member, with each panel further including a left side, a bottom side and a right side, with the left side of each panel coupled to the right side of an adjacent panel, and the right side of each panel coupled to the left side of another adjacent pane. The bottom side of at least one panel is positioned at a higher vertical level than the bottom side of at least one other panel.
Abstract: A bubble generating assembly has a housing, an air generator associated with the housing, a bubble producing device positioned in front of the air generator to receive air generated from the air generator, and a cover or dipping cup configured as an inverted cup. The cover or dipping cup has an interior and a locking mechanism that removably connects the housing, and the cover or dipping cup retains the bubble producing device in the interior when the cover or dipping cup is connected to the housing. In addition, a bubble generating device has a loop with a cylindrical wall extending from the opening of the loop. The cylindrical wall has a plurality of ridges provided on the inner circumferential surface thereof.
Abstract: A method of loading cargo includes the steps of providing a lower frame, supporting the cargo on the lower frame, positioning a plurality of vertical posts in spaced apart manner about the lower frame and exterior to the cargo, supporting an upper frame above the posts, and securing the lower frame, the posts and the upper frame around the cargo.
Abstract: Collapsible structures are provided having at least four panels, including a bottom panel, a first panel, a second panel and a third panel. Each panel has a foldable frame member having a folded and an unfolded orientation, with a fabric material covering portions of the frame member to form the panel when the frame member is in the unfolded orientation. The fabric assumes the unfolded orientation of the frame member. Each panel further includes a first side and a second side, with the first side of one panel coupled to the second side of an adjacent panel, and with the bottom panel resting on the surface.
Abstract: A method of making a slider includes the steps of laminating the bottom-facing surface of a third layer to the upper-facing surface of a fourth layer, laminating the bottom-facing surface of a second layer to the upper-facing surface of the third layer in a heat-compression mold, heat-pressing the combined second, third and fourth layers in the mold to form a desired shape, and heat pressing a first layer on top of the second layer inside the mold.
Abstract: A semiconductor chip package has a pillar body including at least three conductors insulated from each other by an insulating layer. The pillar body has a periphery that includes a plurality of mounting faces, with each mounting face defined by two adjacent conductors separated by a portion of the insulating layer. A plurality of semiconductor chips are attached on the mounting faces and selectively and electrically connected to the conductors. The semiconductor package of the present invention can be used in a semiconductor illuminator which has a housing having a reflecting cup, with the pillar body positioned inside the reflecting cup.
