Abstract: A cosmetic pencil and sharpener comprises a cap and pencil portion having a sharpened head on a first end portion of the pencil, an elongated body and a second end portion. The cap includes a recess at one end to engage and cover the pencil head, an intermediate portion and a second closed end portion. The intermediate portion includes a raised angular section located adjacent a longitudinal slot in the cap wall. A blade is mounted to the angular section and extends downwardly into the slot. Rotation of the pencil sharpens the head against the blade while shavings drop outwardly from the slot due to a self-cleaning chisel point protrusion on the cap.

Abstract: A hair relaxer and conditioner consisting of natural components such as coffee, walnut oil, fish oil carnauba milk and honey. The components are mixed in predetermined proportions to provide hair straightening without damage to the hair and scalp. The pH of the product is between 4.70 and 5.30.

Abstract: A shielding device to protect cellular or cordless telephone users from EMF including the RF microwave radiation comprises a flat internal flexible conductive sheath which is positioned on the top of a flat non-conductive sheathing with a border of non-conductive sheathing extending outwardly thereabout. The sheath assembly is rolled inwardly on both sides and then folded in back on the top and bottom. The recessed are between the rolls of conductive cloth and nylon sheathing is applied thereto. The non-conductive sheathing is cut on both ends of the back region for better audio and the rolls of non-conductive sheathing are trimmed on both sides at an intermediate position. A perforated vinyl/leather front is positioned thereover, hook and loop or Velcro® mounting tabs sewn thereon and a surrounding cover positioned thereover. The cellular or cordless telephone is positioned thereon and the shielding device is wrapped thereabout and locked with an elastic strap, for storage only.

Abstract: A cosmetic container for mounting on a pencil comprises a hollow cylindrical body portion having an aperture at one end and a curved outwardly extending portion at the other end having a pivotal cap attached thereto. The outwardly extending portion comprises a recess for holding cosmetics and a notch to facilitate opening the cap which is attached by a living hinge. The outwardly extending portion includes a recessed cylindrical portion which extends upwardly to engage the hollow cap in a snap fit. The hollow cylindrical body portion engages a pencil end fitting over the eraser to permit easy access to cosmetic, such as lip-gloss.

Abstract: A support for a boom mounted microphone operated by a gaffer comprises a lightweight rigid harness and adjustable couplings, which extend outwardly from the front and rear of the harness to engage the boom. The couplings each include rigid portions extending outwardly from the harness at one end, in an upward direction and a toothed coupling mounted at the other end of the rigid portion. The toothed coupling is pivotable and rotatable. A tension adjustable air cylinder is mounted to each toothed coupling at one end and includes a swing swivel at the other end having a cylinder mounted thereto within which the boom is movably mounted.

Abstract: The invention comprises a soda can lid which forms a seal with one's upper lip during thereby preventing spillage and eliminating residue. The raised platform area on the lid is connected to the pull-tab area with outwardly sloping walls designed to engage the lips. The platform area is slightly higher than the depth of a circular peripheral groove ranging up to slightly higher than the rim. The lid may also include seal portions extending upwardly from the platform on both sides of the depressed pull-tab area. The invention may be employed on lids either with or without a peripheral groove. Another feature of the invention is a pull-tab with an arch handle and special puncture tip for easier more comfortable use by consumers.

Abstract: A rope guide or escort safety lines for small children wherein the children grasp a handle attached to a main rope to prevent the children from straying or getting lost. The guide rope comprises a central main nylon rope with a plurality of intermediate cross ropes with end handles for gripping. The cross-ropes are located at spaced positions on the main rope. A team leader position is located at the forward portion of the main rope and includes an adjustable belt-like element which fastens about the waist of the team leader. A supervisor handle is located at the end of the main rope to be gripped by the adult responsible for the small children who grasp the handles on the cross-ropes. Decorative signs may be hung from the main rope to enhance the design for children.

The contoured pillows may comprise a plurality of shaped strips having Velcro® or hook and loop fasteners to attach to one another to achieve a predetermined shape.

The tip is mounted on a frame and includes a threaded base extending downwardly to engage a threaded receptacle in the elongated body. The frame and mesh tip may include a straight central lumen for the insertion and use of laparoscopic instruments. Optionally, the frame may include a side port coupled to the lumen for irrigation purposes.

Abstract: A biomechanical suit comprises a body suit of a material such as Lycra® or Spandex® or a combination with polyester which includes a plurality of weighted pockets located posterolaterally for enhancing muscle balance to provide good posture and cardiovascular fitness. The suit extends proximally from the neck at the level of throat flexure anteriorly. A plastic zipper extends from the umbilicus to the proximal anterior attachment at the neck. Posteriorly, the suit extends from the C-3 level and includes a plurality of specifically positioned pockets to receive predetermined weights which also provide resistive exercises for fitness purposes.

Abstract: A short tapered fin, that when worn on the forward portion of the foot, acts as a lever to the foot with the fulcrum of that lever being on the underside of the foot. The effect of this lever action stretches the arch of the foot on every downward kick. The rigidity of the fin is also adjustable to the particular swimmer by varying the taper of the fin. The short tapered swim fin functions as a stretching device to stretch and increase the arch of the foot, and as a training device to strengthen the leg muscles that are used with the motions of flutter kick. This invention is a training swim fin that when used over time will improve a swimmer's performance for competitive swimming without fins.

Abstract: A filling depositor for ravioli producing machines particularly with thick or chunky fillings comprises a rotary valve assembly connected to the filling tubes, which are fed by a positive displacement gear pump. The rotary valve assembly includes a rotary valve which is driven and synchronized with a gearing of the ravioli machine and includes machined openings in a shaft which match the shape of the ravioli forming die. The shaft is rotated into alignment with the ravioli die to provide the desired filling thorough slots in a housing and appropriate cut-off of the filling operating at a high speed.
