  • Patent number: 7427215
Abstract: A plug connection for guiding a cable through an opening of a partition, comprising a device socket having a plug receiving portion, and a plug with an insertion body with a locking ring that cooperates with locking elements of the plug receiving portion. At least one cable adapter is connectable to the device socket or plug. A cadmium-free electrically conductive surface coating is provided on at least an inner or outer continuous surface of the electrically conductive components of the plug connection. The contact points between base bodies of the socket device and plug on the one hand, and base bodies of the respective cable adapter on the other hand, are embodied as interengaging teeth. The contact point between the base bodies of the device socket and the plug is produced by a ground ring on one of them and has resilient tongues that rest on the other one.

  • Patent number: 7383854
Abstract: A solenoid valve, particularly for hot water, has a diaphragm that is disposed with no folds that accumulate air or vapor bubbles. The diaphragm extends in a smooth curve between its outer edge and its inner edge so that the bubbles are directed to the level where the mouth of the inlet conduit enters the valve chamber. Preferably the center axis of the valve chamber and a solenoid system is tipped back to form an obtuse angle with the center axis of the inlet conduit. In addition, the inlet conduit has a portion of the upper inside wall that slopes upwardly in the direction away form the valve chamber and toward the inlet. In this portion, a discharge channel, such as a groove, extends in the direction from the valve chamber to the inlet. The discharge channel helps direct accumulated air and vapor bubbles from the valve chamber out toward the inlet.

  • Patent number: 7385687
Abstract: A device for inspecting a substrate having at least one printed-on layer, including a guide carrier on which the substrate is supported. An inspection head is movable in at least two directions relative to the guide carrier and is provided with an illumination mechanism and an detection device for detecting electromagnetic radiation reflected from the substrate and conveying it to an evaluation device for detecting substrate errors. The detection device has a digital camera with optics for detecting a definition of less than 200 microns. A movement mechanism controls the relative movement between guide carrier and inspection head during an image-taking cycle during which sequential or overlapping individual images can be joined together to form an overall image of the substrate.

  • Patent number: 6281671
Abstract: An electrode component group for a corrosion measuring system for detecting corrosion of a metal embedded in a construction component of ion-conducting material has a rod-shaped base body having a first flange member at a first end of base body and a second flange member at a second end of base body. The base body is insertable into the construction component with the first end leading. A plurality of spacer rings is positioned on the base body between the first and second flange members. The metal electrode rings and sealing rings are arranged alternatingly between the spacer rings. Each one of the metal electrode rings have an electrical line connected to a measuring circuit external to the construction component. The electrical lines are guided inside the metal electrode rings to the second end of the base body. A device for reducing a spacing between the first and second flange members is provided.

  • Patent number: 6279320
Abstract: A turbocharging device for an internal combustion engine has an exhaust gas manifold receiving exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine and a first charge air distributor distributing charge air to the internal combustion engine. A first set of exhaust gas turbochargers each has a turbine and a compressor, wherein the turbines of the exhaust gas turbochargers of the first set are connected in parallel to the exhaust gas manifold and the respective compressors are connected serially to the first charge air distributor. A second set of exhaust gas turbochargers with a turbine and a compressor is provided wherein the turbines of the exhaust gas turbochargers of the second set are connected in parallel to the exhaust gas manifold and the respective compressors are connected serially to the first charge air distributor.

  • Patent number: 6273109
Abstract: A cleaning device for automobile bodies has a cleaning chamber having a base structure and a roof structure. A transport device is provided on which vehicle bodies are transported in a transport direction through the cleaning chamber. The cleaning chamber has operating modules detachably connected to the base structure. The operating modules have lateral nozzle modules having lateral compressed air nozzles directing a stream of compressed air onto the vehicle bodies. The operating modules also have top nozzle modules having a top compressed air nozzle directing a stream of compressed air onto the automobile bodies. A vacuum device is provided for removing the compressed air from the cleaning chamber.
