  • Patent number: 7421073
Abstract: The clip-mount operates with a button sub-mount system and includes a body defining a locking cavity for the button and a resilient locking tongue therein. The tongue biases the button into a locking position with a cam surface. A movable cam actuator on the body includes another cam surface which coacts with the first cam permitting the tongue to flex or unlock. An enhancement includes both an unlocking cam and a second locking cam structure. The method includes biasing the button to a locking position and moving one cam over another thereby flexing the tongue from a locked to a button release position. The actuator maybe biased outboard or upward via a plastic spring on the actuator-plunger. A plastic leaf spring may be provided between a clip arm and the button clip mount body. A lock or latch may lock on the actuator-plunger.

  • Patent number: 7385529
Abstract: The dynamic, predictive information system and method assigns shipping assets (drivers-tractors-trailers) from carriers to transport orders by shippers. Computer databases hold shipping asset data. Specific transport orders are electronically joined to specific driver-tractor-trailer combinations. A search and sort routine produces resulting records based upon proximity, trailer type, proximity of the joined driver-trailer combination, carrier service region and pick-up and delivery date constraints. The sort is by price or performance indicators which are pre-selected shipper ranges matched to historical shipping data from carriers. The system books the carrier, the driver-tractor-trailer combination and the shipper to transport order with an electronic communications phase. In a truck lane scenario, the system joins a specific driver and a specific tractor and a non-specific trailer to a specific transport order.

  • Patent number: 7374495
Abstract: The locking nut and bolt system includes an elongated locking unit, mounted in a nut and operative with a specially configured groove bolt. The locking unit includes a plurality of at least three tines, asymmetrically located, which protrude tangentially and generally radially inward. The tines are radially asymmetrically disposed such that when a respective tine latches into a corresponding groove, asynchronous locking operation is achieved. When the tine is engaged in the groove, counter-rotational movement (loosening) is prohibited. In another embodiment, the locking unit has different sized edge cut-outs prohibiting the locking insert from rotating within the nut. The locking unit may also include a longitudinal split and a key and a keyway. A manufacturing process is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7322047
Abstract: The data security method, system and associated data mining enables multiple users, each having a respective security clearance level to access security sensitive words, data objects, characters or icons. The method extracts security sensitive words, data objects, characters or icons from plaintext or other source documents to obtain (a) subsets of extracted data and (b) remainder data. The extracted data is, in one embodiment, stored in a multilevel security system (MLS) which separates extract data of different security levels with MLS guards. Some or all of the original data is reconstructed via one or more of the subsets of extracted data and remainder data only in the presence of a predetermined security level. In this manner, an inquiring party, with the proper security clearance, can data mine the data in the MLS secured storage.

  • Patent number: 7250111
Abstract: A water disinfection delivery treatment system first filters the supply by a particle and then a carbon filter. The partially treated flow is split in two and a first part passes through a first cutoff valve and is fed into a disinfection (iodine) chamber, filter or feeder via a flow restricter. The chamber output passes through a second solenoid driven cutoff valve. The second part is fed to a third cutoff valve and this valve's output is summed with the second valve's output and then fed into a holding tank. The tank retain's a volume such that the water remains therein for at least a period sufficient to permit a minimum 3 log reduction of pathogenic microbes. A final carbon filter is downstream of the tank as is a meter and dispenser. A method is also provided for delivering potable drinking water.

  • Patent number: 7191252
Abstract: Data security for e-mail or browser-input data operates on identified security sensitive words, characters or icons which are extracted leaving remainder data. Extracted data, in one system, is stored in a remote, extract store in a distributed computer system. Other methods attach an encrypted version of the extract to the email. The browser system operates with an extract store. Remainder data is sent to the addressee or designated web server. The addressee is permitted to retrieve the extracted data from said extract store only in the presence of a security clearance and hence, reconstruct the source e-mail or browser-input data with the extract data. In other systems, the addressee reconstructs the email by decryption and integration. Parsing rather than identifying critical words is an option. The browser method extracts data, facilitates the storage in an extract store, forwards the remainder data to a targeted destination.
