Abstract: A lithium secondary battery includes a fixing unit in a terminal plate to fix the terminal plate to an electrode terminal to prevent the terminal plate from rotating when an electrode tap is welded to a cap assembly or when the cap assembly is assembled with an upper portion of a can. The lithium secondary battery includes an electrode assembly having a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate and a separator, a can for receiving the electrode assembly and an electrolyte, and a cap assembly having a cap plate, an insulating plate, a terminal plate and an electrode terminal and being assembled with an upper opening of the can in order to seal the can. The terminal plate includes a fixing unit to fix the terminal plate to the electrode terminal such that the terminal plate is prevented from rotating.
Abstract: A thin film transistor is provided having an oxide semiconductor as an active layer, a method of manufacturing the thin film transistor and a flat panel display device having the thin film transistor. The thin film transistor includes: a gate electrode formed on a substrate; an oxide semiconductor layer isolated from the gate electrode by a gate insulating layer and including channel, source and drain regions; source and drain electrodes coupled to the source and drain regions, respectively; and an ohmic contact layer interposed between the source and drain regions and the source and drain electrodes. In the TFT, the ohmic contact layer is formed with the oxide semiconductor layer having a carrier concentration higher than those of the source and drain regions.

At least one electricity generator generates electrical energy by an electrochemical reaction of the hydrogen gas and oxygen. A fuel supply assembly supplies fuel to the reformer, and an oxygen supply assembly supplies oxygen to the at least one electricity generator. A heat exchanger is connected to the reformer and to the at least one electricity generator. The heat exchanger supplies thermal energy of the reformer, during initial operation of the system, to the at least one electricity generator so as to pre-heat the at least one electricity generator.

Abstract: This invention relates to a method for producing chromates, especially for producing alkali metal chromates. The method comprises following steps: the obtaining of a mixture of alkali metal hydroxide, alkali metal chromate, and ferrous residue after the reaction of chromite ore with an oxidant in the reactor in the presence of molten salt or in aqueous solution of alkali metal hydroxide, the obtaining of a leaching slurry by leaching the reaction products with aqueous solution of alkali metal hydroxide, the separating of the primary chromate product from the leaching slurry, the obtaining of pure chromate crystal by purifying the primary chromate product. Both the primary chromate product and the pure chromate crystal can be used as the raw materials to manufacture other chromium compounds. Compared with the currently-used roasting method, the method has the advantages of decreasing the reaction temperature by about 700° C.

Abstract: A method of fabricating a polysilicon thin film produces a polysilicon thin film which is used to make a thin film transistor. The method includes depositing a silicon film containing amorphous silicon on a substrate, and performing thermal treatment on the silicon film at a predetermined temperature in an H2O atmosphere. Accordingly, the crystallization temperature and thermal treatment time are decreased when the amorphous silicon is crystallized by a solid phase crystallization method, and this prevents the substrate from being bent due to application of a thermal treatment process for a long time and at a high temperature. As a result of the invention, a polysilicon thin film having superior crystallization properties is obtained. Use of the polysilicon thin film in a thin film transistor results in the reduction of defects in the thin film resistor.

Abstract: The present invention provides a buffer and an organic light emitting display that employs the buffer. The buffer is installed in a scan driver or a data driver, which generates scan signals and data signals, respectively, to drive the organic light emitting display. The buffer of the present invention is configured of p-channel metal-oxide-semiconductor (PMOS) transistors, and therefore the scan driver or data driver that includes the buffer can be mounted on a display panel. Various arrangements of the PMOS transistors are proposed for the buffer of the present invention. The buffer of the present invention effectively prevents leakage current that could be generated in the circuit of the buffer.
