  • Patent number: 7874264
Abstract: The present invention is a disposable wild bird feeder with the features that make it safe and easy to use but protected from being reused. A transparent reservoir containing bird seed is connected with a feeding base. The feeding base is threaded to an adaptor portion of the reservoir. A locking means between the internal threads of the adaptor portion and the external threads of the feeding base discourages the assembled wild bird feeder from being taken apart and refilled. The wild bird feeder converts from a first storage and shipping configuration to a second feeding configuration by partially unthreading the feeding base from the adaptor so bird seed is supplied to the bottom portion of the feeding base. A plurality of perches are supported by the feeding base. The perches are moved from a stored position to approximately a horizontal deployed position when the second feeding configuration is realized.

  • Patent number: 7730665
Abstract: The present invention includes a reservoir on a base supported at an elevation by a support member above a plurality of plants to be watered. A mechanical fill assembly, containing a flush valve and a float connected to a water supply line, automatically keeps the reservoir filled with water for extended periods. The plants are watered by gravity through a plurality of main valves in the reservoir that provide a controlled amount of water to main lines extending to each group of plants. Branch lines extend from each main line that terminate at perforated plant lines at each plant to be watered. A plant valve controls the amount of water each plant will receive on a continuous basis. In a further embodiment of the invention, a bird porch is attached to the reservoir to automatically provided a bird waterer and to provide a bird feeder. Also, a removable fertilizer tray can be provided to fertilize the plants.

  • Patent number: 7547027
Abstract: The present invention provides a rolling walker with a pair of armrest platforms and vertical handles in combination with a removable utility tray. The armrest platforms provide added or alternate support for a patient not provided by a conventional four wheeled rolling walker. A utility tray assembly provides a tray top and a drawer for patient care services. The armrest platforms are supported at a vertical distance above the ground surface by a pair of armrest frames. The armrest frames are carried by the main frame of the conventional walker. The armrest frames each includes a main armrest frame member, a diagonal member and an armrest support member to carry the armrest platform and vertical handles with hand brakes. The armrest platforms can be adjusted in both horizontally and vertically with respect to the main frame of the conventional walker for better distribution of the user's weight. The utility tray assembly rests on the armrest platforms when needed.

  • Patent number: 7485788
Abstract: The present invention combines a classic chimes system with message bars having a faith building message imprinted on the message bars in keeping with the multi-tone chimes. In the preferred system the chimes and message bars hang vertically from a main support member. The message bars are spaced between the chimes so that a striker is free to contact each chime. The striker may have a wind or clapper vane hanging from the striker to move the striker in contact with the chimes. In one embodiment the message bars provide the clapper vane. Inspirational words and biblical phrases are also imprinted on the main support member and the wind vane. A faith bar, having a faith for healing and love message imprinted thereon, may also be added above the main support member bar to convey an overall faith building message for the system.

  • Patent number: 7334593
Abstract: The present invention provides a support device associated with an object such as a vehicle tailgate or a residential deck for holding an umbrella with an umbrella pole supporting at least one serving tray to provide shade from the sun for a user occupying a portion of the object. The support device comprises a bent plate support in contact with the object. At least one retainer strap with a hook at each end holds the bent plate in contact with the object. An umbrella pole support is connected to the bent plate support to receive and help hold the umbrella pole. At least one support collar is welded to the bent plate to receive and support the umbrella pole support. Additional accessories and applications are also realized within the scope of this invention including a fishing pole holder, a bowl holder and a light assembly for night use.

  • Patent number: 6958010
Abstract: A fan unit centrally located within a crawl space includes a fan, a fan motor, an inlet grill, and an outlet grill. A timer connected in the power supply activates the fan motor at periodic predetermined time intervals to move the crawl space air through the fan unit. The fan unit is located and orientated to create a negative pressure to pull air into the crawl space through wall inlet vents and to also create a positive pressure to force air out of the crawl space through wall outlet vents. An outside humidity sensor can be used to insure the outside air has a lower percent humidity than that desired in the crawl space and an inside humidity sensor is used to turn the fan unit off if the crawl space humidity is below an acceptable limit. A temperature sensor is used to turn the fan unit off when the crawl space air temperature gets too low.
