Abstract: A process for preparing a foodstuff, like for instance a meat bird, comprising folding of a wrap around a stuffing, whereby the wrap is wider at one end than at the opposite end, the stuffing being deposed on the wrap at the wide end of the wrap and folding onto the upper side of the stuffing those parts of the wider end of the wrap which protrude beyond the stuffing, after which the stuffing with the thus folded wide end of the wrap are rolled up towards the narrower end of the wrap such that the wrap is rolled around the stuffing.
Abstract: A filter system for entraining solid matter contained in a fluid wherein a mass of particulate filter material is suspended in a fluid confined within an enclosure and the fluid containing the solid matter to be filtered therefrom is pumped into the mass of particulate filter material so as to cause weltering of the particulate material and gravitational separation of the solid matter from the fluid.

Abstract: A device for installing drapery hangers comprising essentially a support for receiving one leg of a hanger having two legs one of which is to be positioned in a pocket at the top of the drape and the other of which is outside the pocket, said legs having respectively an aperture in one and a prong in the other, spaced guides for aligning the leg outside the pocket with the leg inside the pocket and a ram operable to move the leg outside the pocket in a direction to cause the prong to penetrate the pocket and become interlocked within the aperture in the leg within the pocket.
Abstract: A fast rotating ferrite ring engine that is started by an external starting motor generates a medium mechanical power continuously. The rotating ferrite ring engine body is composed of thin circular ferrite rings affixed to a nonmagnetic plate connected to external devices necessary for the inventive operations, a heat portion, a magnetic field generator both of which are located in the same place where the rings are passing through, and a cooling portion through which the ferrite rings also are passing and restoring cyclically the heated portion of the rings to the cool state that is magnetizable. After starting by an external starter motor, the ferrite ring engine is controlled at a constant peripheral velocity V.sub.O by the countertorque of an externally connected electric power generator. In this state, the magnetic energy which enters into the heat portion is made to V.sub.O .multidot.HB.sub.S .multidot.S.multidot.(1/8.pi.).multidot.10.sup.
Abstract: A sailcloth comprising a laminate of a continuous sheet of synthetic resin bonded to an unwoven, warp knit scrim and, optionally, coated on the exposed side of the warp knit scrim with a synthetic resin.
Abstract: A moistureproof package comprising a container and lid characterized in that the lid is attached to the container by means of a primary hermetic seal and is provided with a secondary snap fastener for securing the lid to the container once it has been opened, and further characterized in that the container and lid frame are formed from a single sheet of material enough larger in area than that required to form the container to also form the lid frame.

Abstract: A duplicating stencil is produced by placing an electrostatically-produced image on a substrate in contact with an ink-impervious surface layer of a stencil blank, bending the image to the surface layer by the application of heat and/or pressure and stripping the substrate from the stencil blank to remove the surface layer in the image area. The surface layer may comprise a synthetic resin composition containing a finely dispersed pigment and is attached to the porous base tissue of the stencil blank by an adhesive. Bonding of the image to the surface layer and possibly also fixing of the image to the substrate in the same operation can be effected by means of infra-red heating.
Abstract: A rotatably supported pressure vessel is disclosed for treating product under high pressure. A pressure medium is supplied to the pressure vessel through two separate supply conducts feeding the pressure medium under different pressures. When supplying the pressure medium to the pressure vessel, in a first step the pressure medium is supplied under lower pressure. During this step, the pressure within the pressure vessel is monitored. When a predetermined pressure is reached indicating that the feed opening of the pressure vessel is completely closed by an associated cover, the pressure medium is supplied under high pressure. The pressure medium source may either comprise a high pressure supply and a lower pressure supply, or two separate supply conducts of substantially different cross-sectional areas are provided to provide different pressure differentials.
