Abstract: A weapon system, especially for a ship, having a rocket launcher and an ammunition compartment for storing rocket containers designed to each accommodate at least one rocket. Disposed in the ammunition compartment is a guide mechanism on which at least two ammunition carriages, designed to accommodate the rocket containers, are displaceably disposed, whereby they can be shifted out of a parked position into a loading position in which the rocket container is disposed essentially below a slide-in structure of the rocket launcher. Securing mechanisms are provided for securing the ammunition carriages in place on the guide mechanism.

Abstract: A device for measuring the displacement travel of a hydraulic displacement mechanism for blades of an impeller of an axial-flow fan, wherein the displacement mechanism includes as components a displacement cylinder and a piston rod having a piston, one of the components being axially displaceable and the other component not being axially displaceable. Respective spindles of the blades are secured to a displacement disk to which is connected the axially displaceable component of the displacement mechanism. An oil transfer element surrounds an extension of the piston rod that extends out of the displacement cylinder. A magnetostrictive displacement-measuring device that includes a sensor housing with a wave guide, sensor head, and an annular magnet is coupled to the displacement mechanism. The sensor housing and the sensor head are connected to the oil transfer element. Either the oil transfer element or one of the displacement mechanism components is axially displaceable relative to the other component.

During operation of the carburetor, the fuel channel is adapted to have fuel flow continuously therethrough. The fuel channel is guided through a pump chamber of the accelerator pump.
Abstract: An internal combustion engine having an intake channel that opens into a crankcase. A first fuel channel opens into the intake channel to supply fuel thereto as a function of underpressure in the intake channel. An auxiliary channel opens into a transfer channel that fluidically connects a crankcase to the combustion chamber. A second fuel channel opens into the auxiliary channel and is connected to a storage reservoir for fuel. At least one valve controls the quantity of fuel to be supplied to the engine via the auxiliary channel. Largely fuel-free air is supplied to the engine via the intake channel during idling. During a first revolution of the crankshaft, fuel is supplied via the auxiliary channel, so that a combustible mixture can form in the combustion chamber. During a second revolution, largely fuel-free air is supplied via the auxiliary channel and the combustion chamber is scavenged with largely fuel-free air.
Abstract: A self stopping seat belt retractor is provided with a belt shaft for winding a seat belt thereonto and unwinding a wound seat belt therefrom and a housing rotatably supporting the belt shaft and having a locking device that includes a locking means for the belt shaft that can be controlled in a vehicle sensitive and/or belt sensitive manner into engagement with a toothed gearing system on that side of the housing. A tightening device operating on the belt shaft includes a drive wheel, which is, prior to the release of the tightening device, secured in a force-transmitting manner on the housing, is connectable upon release of the tightening device with the belt shaft, whereby the drive wheel of the tightening device is connectable via the locking device with the belt shaft for the transmission of force to the belt shaft.

A carburetor supplies a fuel/air mixture to the engine, with a butterfly valve being disposed in the intake duct of the carburetor and with a choke valve being disposed upstream of the butterfly valve. A start lever is provided for actuating the carburetor in a start phase, and acts upon the choke valve. The start lever can be shifted in a direction of actuation and in an unlocking direction that is independent of the direction of actuation. The start lever can be locked in a rest position relative to the direction of actuation, and after being shifted out of the rest position in the unlocking direction is shiftable in the direction of actuation.

Abstract: A turnbuckle lock for use on a thin-walled door includes a locking tongue and actuating mechanism that are formed as one piece with one another. An inner seal disposed between the housing and actuating mechanism is formed by being sprayed onto the housing. The actuating member and the housing member enclosing the actuating mechanism are permanently connected to each other, and the inner seal is placed inside at least one free space formed on the actuating mechanism. The inner seal and outer seal also may be formed as a one-piece element. By the permanent connection of the housing and the component made up of the actuating mechanism and the locking tongue, it is ensured that the locking tongue cannot be detached from the actuating mechanism, so that the locking function of the turnbuckle lock is always provided.

Abstract: A piston for a two-cycle engine having a piston head and a piston wall in which are disposed wrist pin eyes. At least one undercut is formed between the underside of the piston head and the wrist pin eyes at a distance from the piston head. The undercut extends from the interior of the piston toward the piston wall. A respective thickened portion is provided in at least one region of the piston that is rotationally shifted about the longitudinal axis of the piston by 90° relative to one of the wrist pin eyes. Abstract: A plate conveyor having overlapping plates and a plate-supporting sprocket chain composed of two parallel chain strands formed of inner link members and outer link members, facing ones of which are connected by link pins. The chain is in the form of at least two preassembled portions that are to be interconnected by terminal link segments. Abstract: An on-board vehicle diagnostic system includes sensors for detecting vehicle operating parameters, such as speed, wheel speed, yaw rate, transverse acceleration, and/or tire operating parameters, such as the tire inflation pressure and the temperature at the belt edge. Relationships between the parameters are stored in a diagnostic model so that depending on the complexity level of the system and performance requirements, predictions regarding the wear condition of the tire and/or defective vehicle adjustments are possible.
