Abstract: Two versions of recumbent human powered three wheeled vehicles are disclosed. Both are of the tadpole type with two front wheels and one rear drive wheel. Both versions lean into turns causing weight transfer toward the inside of turns to prevent rollover during turns at speed.

Abstract: A side loading trash compactor, comprising a frame defining a cavity, a receptacle for containing trash, a platen movable to compress trash collected in the receptacle, a first set of linkages having a first end attached to the frame by a first simple hinge joint, the first simple hinge joint having an axis of rotation, and a second end attached to the platen by a second simple hinge joint, a second set of linkages having a first end attached to the frame by a third simple hinge joint, and a second end attached to the platen by a fourth simple hinge joint, and a drive mechanism configured to move the plate up and down, wherein the first and second set of linkages operate in intersecting planes.

The outer sheath is constructed of a material or materials suitable to absorb energy and sound to result in significant reduction in: a) the sound produced by practice drumming, and b) physical damage to any surface struck by the practice drumstick.

Abstract: A portable, liquid-dispensing bag that has a bag within one or more bags. A fitment portal aligns openings in the one or more inner bags and outer the outer bag, which in at least one embodiment accommodates a tap. A variety of arrangements and variations are possible, including having a re-sealable opening in both the inner bag or bags and a re-sealable opening in the outer bag. A gas vent can be added to either the inner or outer bags. It is contemplated that a drinkable liquid is stored in an inner bag, and ice or cold water is stored in the outer bag to keep the drinking fluid cold.

Abstract: The vacuum storage system comprises: a vacuum pump, a vacuum bus, a control system to monitor and maintain a selected vacuum level in the vacuum bus. Abstract: The Vibrato trainer comprises: a stem; an attachment assembly for securing said stem to a tuning peg of a musical instrument; and a base; a plurality of pads attached to said base to assure stable placement of said base against said musical instrument; one or more elastic bands attached to said base for securing said base to said musical instrument; and one or more guide posts for guiding the hand and wrist, said guide posts removably attached to said stem. In use the attachment means is attached to the tuning peg of a stringed instrument and the base is placed against the back of the instrument so that the stem is parallel and beneath the finger board of the instrument. So that guideposts contact the wrist to provide a physical reminder that the trainee's wrist is out of position.

Abstract: The Escape-Right is an emergency escape system comprising: a passenger harness, a cable, a reel, a shaft fixed to the reel permitting rotation of the reel as the cable is unrolled, a reduction gear assembly, a centrifugal brake assembly, a housing enclosing the brake assembly, and a mounting mechanism. The escape right is a mechanism to escape or descend from the upper floors of a building when the usual exits are unavailable. The Escape-Right may be anchored to prepared points, heavy objects within the building, or a ladder placed near the exit portal. The braking mechanism may be attached to the anchor point or the user. In some configurations of the Escape-Right multiple descents may be accomplished without rewinding the cable.
