Abstract: A photo detector which includes a wheel turned with a revolving shaft, the wheel having a plurality of light permeable portions and light tight portions alternatively arranged around the revolving shaft, a light source controlled to emit light onto the wheel, and a photo receiver element having a set of photo sensor chips adapted to receive light from the light source through the light permeable portions of the wheel, the photo receiver element having at least two sloping surface portions at a light receiving side thereof around each of the photo sensor chips for refracting proximity light to prevent an interference of proximity light.

Abstract: A chainless transmission mechanism for a bicycle, including a casing mounted in a bottom bracket to hold a bottom bracket bearing axle, permitting the bottom bracket bearing axle to be driven by pedals to turn a rear-wheel hub through a transmission shaft and two transmission gear sets, wherein the bottom bracket has a first end, a second end, and a notch at the second end thereof; the casing is a cylindrical shell inserted through the bottom bracket, having a first end secured to the bottom bracket outside the first end of the bottom bracket by a clamp, a second end disposed outside the second end of the bottom bracket, and a hollow projecting block raised from its second end and forced into engagement with the notch at the second end of the bottom bracket.

Abstract: A tool rack includes a body having a head portion and a board extending from the head portion, the board having two rails extending from two sides thereof so that a plurality of connectors are slidably mounted to the two rails. Each of the connectors has two plates and each of the plates has a recess defined therein so that a tool is received in the recesses of the two plates. A stop member is connected to the free end of the board and blocks the two rails to prevent the connectors from being removed from the rails. A limit member is mounted to the board so as to keep the tools on the connectors from being removed.

Abstract: A curtain type decorative light string set capable of connecting with several independent light strings is provided. The light strings are connected in parallel and use the main electrical wires as a support, to be hung on other objects to prevent the light strings from loosening and thereby ensure that all other bulbs stay lit.

Abstract: A wall hook includes a wall mount having a receptacle portion and a peripheral notch at the receptacle portion, a hook member having a mounting plate at one end fitted into the receptacle portion of the wall mount and fixedly fastened with the wall mount to a flat wall surface by nails and at least one hooked portion extended out of the peripheral notch at the receptacle portion of the wall mount for hanging things, and a shield covered on the receptacle portion of the wall mount to keep the mounting plate and the nails from sight.

Abstract: An auxiliary condenser includes a plurality of heat conductive tubes connected in series between a compressor and a main condenser of an air conditioning system to absorb heat energy of compressed, hot, gas state coolant outputted from the compressor, absorptive covering means covered on the heat conductive tube to absorb condensed water from evaporator means of the air conditioning system for carrying heat away from the heat conductive tubes by means of evaporation.

Abstract: A cool mug is provided with a closed chamber defined between an outer vessel and an inner vessel. The bottom is closed with a bottom cap to form the closed chamber. The bottom cap has a hole for filling the closed chamber with a thermal storage substance for low temperatures and then the hole is sealed to prevent the thermal storage substance from leaking out. Acrylate resin copolymer is mixed with water and used as the low-temperature thermal storage substance. Further, a substance may also be added in the acrylate resin copolymer mixture for imparting freeze resistant properties thereto, and acting as an antiseptic.

Abstract: A flexible decorative lamp system including a plurality of lamp strips and a plurality of connectors adapted to connect each two lamp strips in series, wherein each connector includes a cylindrical connector body having a longitudinal center through hole of triangular cross section, two terminal elements connected together and mounted in the connector body, and two screw caps respectively fastened to two opposite ends of the connector body to hold two lamp strips in connection to the terminal elements at two opposite sides; the lamp strips have a triangular cross section fitting the longitudinal center through hole of the cylindrical connector body.

Abstract: A laser marker control system includes a personal computer, a programmable logic control (PLC), a movable carrier table, an industrial man-machine interface and a laser device. The personal computer is linked to the PLC to control the laser device and is linked to the carrier table in a point-teaching operation. The PLC is provided for numeral calculation, signal input, status output and control of the carrier table, and provides signal, data and status exchange when linked to the man-machine interface. The carrier table is the carrier of the work piece, controlled by the PLC to change the position thereof. In the point-teaching operation, the carrier table is linked to the personal computer and the PLC. The man-machine interface is a touch-control monitor for status display and may indirectly control the carrier table when linked to the PLC. The laser device which generates and emits a laser beam for marking operation is connected to the PLC.

Abstract: A supporting shaft of a sunshade of the present invention includes plurality of supporting rods separately disposed together to form a main shaft, an upper connecting cap and a lower connecting cap separately connected to upper ends and lower ends of the main shaft respectively as the securing means, a sliding block movably fitted around the main shaft. Stretching ribs provided to stretch open or fold close the sunshade are pivoted to the sliding block. Plurality of bent pipes are separately coupled to corners of the sunshade so that the supporting rods, separated, can be coupled thereto to change the sunshade into a tent with the supporting rods supporting the sunshade from the corners.

Abstract: A pacifier with a dust-free-cap comprises a base having a through hole defined therethrough, a nipple partially inserted through the base and a holder partially inserted into the nipple. Within the base, there is provided with a first wall, a second wall having a length longer than the first wall, an indentation defined in a face defining the second wall and a pair of cutouts diametrically opposed to each other. The nipple has a flange integrally formed and abutting the rim of the first wall when the nipple is partially inserted into the through hole of the base. The holder consists of a post having a plurality of annular rings formed therearound, a positioning ring integrally formed with the post, a key extending out from a periphery of the positioning ring and a loop integrally formed with the positioning ring. When the pacifier is assembled, the nipple is able to be securely received within the cap to protect the nipple from contamination by the ambient air.

Abstract: A ratchet wrench is provided that includes a link control structure in which the control rod slides smoothly in the D-head to control the ball that locks the joint with a socket or releases the joint. A new bolting joint structure between the D-head and the reversing disc is provided that consists of a straight segment at the front portion, as a guiding section, and a conic segment at the back portion, as a securing section of the threaded trunk, so that the bolt can be located at any desired position for adjustment, without the possibility of loosening. The reversing disc has a curved circular groove formed in the top surface thereof that conforms to human engineering principles.

Abstract: An electronic lock according to the present invention can be used to open the door by the electronic codes and the key such that when the electronic codes fail due to the power supply being not enough, the key can be used to open the door. The electronic lock can also be used to open the door by the key when the electronic codes fail or when the user forgets the code numbers. In addition, it is easy to replace the cells of the electronic lock. Further, the electronic lock can be fitted on the right side of the door and can also be fitted on the left side of the door.

Abstract: An actuating device for a dynamite gun includes a barrel member having a first tube slidably mounted to a second tube which is fixedly connected to the barrel member, a bar removably received in the second tube. The first tube has a first slot and a first enlarged hole, and the second tube has a second slot and a second enlarged hole, wherein the second slot is wider than the first slot. A function rod is movably received in a stepped hole defined transversely in the bar and has three sections with different outer diameters so as to extend through the first and the second slot. An actuating member pivotally disposed to the gun and has a recess defined in a top thereof so that if the actuating member is operated before the first tube is pushed rearwardly, the lower end of the function rod will be received in the recess and the gun does not function.
