  • Patent number: 5765610
Abstract: An aircraft fueling nozzle includes a nozzle body supporting a valve seal and valve poppet movable between an open and closed position. The nozzle body supports a trio of extending index pins together with a trio of spring-biased movable lock pins extending toward the receptacle end of the nozzle body. A nozzle collar is rotatably supported by the nozzle body and defines a trio of inwardly extending inclined ribs which receive and engage a conventional fueling adapter upon a to-be-fueled aircraft. A lock pin alignment ring is secured upon the upper edge of the nozzle body and defines apertures through which the index pins and lock pins extend. The apertures receiving the lock pins are elongated defining straight parallel sides while the apertures receiving the index pins are circular.

  • Patent number: 5730638
Abstract: A housing includes a clip for attachment of the housing to the back surface of a doll or toy figure. Within the housing, an electronic circuit is operative under battery power to provide audible sounds when an on/off button is pushed. A plurality of light-emitting diodes are operatively coupled to the sound circuit and are energized in a flashing operation when the sound circuit is energized. A cape attachable to the doll upon which the housing is attached includes a reflective surface facing the light-emitting diodes of the housing to provide reflection of the light produced thereby. When the sound circuit is energized, audible sounds are produced and the interior surface of the cape is bombarded with flashing light energy to provide an amusing visual effect. Abstract: A toilet seat lifting handle includes a support bracket coupled to the underside of a conventional toilet seat by an adhesive material. The bracket further supports a pivotally attached socket which in turn receives a frustro-conical handle in a removable attachment. The interior of the frustro-conical handle or grip receives a quantity of scented material which permeates outwardly through a plurality of apertures defined in the grip portion of the handle. In an alternate embodiment, an electric light is provided within the grip portion of the handle to provide illumination in low light or darkened areas and to render the handle grip easier to see. The handle grip is pivotally attached to the support bracket to facilitate pivoting the handle grip to a close alignment with the toilet seat edge avoiding undue intrusion into the remainder of the toilet facility area.

  • Patent number: 5673678
Abstract: A pair of arrow rest prongs are supported beneath an arrow by a bracket secured to an archery bow. The prongs are supported in a mirror arrangement and define corresponding mirror image structures. Each arrow rest prong includes an attachment pin of generally cylindrical shape and defining a head portion to which a multiply curved multiply angled Teflon prong portion is attached by direct molding. Each prong defines an end proximate to the cylindrical pin and receiving the head portion from which the molded portion of the prong curves outwardly to an outwardly angled portion and transitions to an inwardly angled portion which in turn transitions to a rest end which defines a downwardly and outwardly curved portion. A curved crown is formed at the uppermost portion of the rest end. The prongs are identical in structure and shape with the difference being a mirror image relationship between the prongs.

  • Patent number: 5653215
Abstract: An air-powered projectile launcher includes a housing defining a cylindrical launch tube for receiving a projectile and a cylindrical cylinder bore. A piston having an extending piston rod is sealingly movable within the cylinder bore and is coupled at its forward end to a coil spring. The piston rod extends rearwardly through a trigger and cocking mechanism which in turn is coupled to a pivotal pump handle. A ratcheting mechanism is operatively coupled between the pivoting pump handle and the piston rod to facilitate the incremental drawing motion of the piston rod and piston stretching the power spring. The trigger mechanism holds the piston rod against the force of the stretched spring until the user pulls the trigger into its release position. Thereafter, the stored energy of the spring drives the piston forward against the launch tube and projectile providing an air burst which launches the projectile.
