Abstract: In the pretensioner, a guiding wall is provided in a generator-side passing portion of a gas passing portion, and an inner portion of the generator-side passing portion at a portion where the guard wall is set is located to a base end rather than a tip end of a wire protective cylinder. Further, a gas generator mounting hole and the generator-side passing portion is inclined to be directed the base end of the wire protective cylinder. For this reason, gas that is jetted from a gas generator is blown to the base end of the wire protective cylinder or a surrounding portion thereof. As a result, even though the thickness of the wire protective cylinder is not set to be large, it can be against pressure of the blown gas.
Abstract: A light emitting device that has a radiant efficiency that does not decline in use, enables luminous flux to be increased by a high electric current, and produces white light with good color rendering and a method for producing a light emitting device capable of smoothly transmitting heat generated by LED elements to a carrier substrate. The radiation emitting device has first LED elements for emitting UV radiation, second LED elements for emitting visible light, a substrate made of an inorganic material and which carries the first LED elements and the second LED elements, a body made of inorganic material containing the first LED elements, the second LED elements and the substrate, and an SiC fluorescent screen that is doped with at least one of B and Al as well as N and emits visible light when excited by radiation emitted from the first LED elements.
Abstract: Solder mold plates and methods of manufacturing the solder mold plates are provided herein. The solder mold plates are used in controlled collapse chip connection processes. The solder mold plate includes a plurality of cavities. At least one cavity of the plurality of cavities has a different volume than another of the cavities in a particular chip set site. The method of manufacturing the solder mold plate includes determining susceptible white bump locations on a chip set. The method further includes forming lower volume cavities on the solder mold plate which coincide with the susceptible white bump locations, and forming higher volume cavities on the solder mold plate which coincide with less susceptible white bump locations.

Abstract: A jumper that has a housing and is used for bridging two modular electric terminals which are arranged next to one another and are each equipped with a busbar. At least one opening is formed in the busbars. In order to be able to easily actuate the jumper according to the invention and flexibly and easily insert the same into multiple modular terminals, two mutually insulated contact elements are arranged in the housing so as to engage into an opening in a respective busbar, and a jumper rail is movably retained in the housing. The jumper rail, which has two contact zones and a connection zone that connects the contact zones, can be moved from a first final position in which the contact zones do not contact the contact elements into a second final position in which the contact elements are interconnected in an electrically conducting manner via the jumper rail.
Abstract: Method for correcting timing failures in an integrated circuit and device for monitoring an integrated circuit. The method includes placing a first and second latch near a critical path. The first latch has an input comprising a data value on the critical path. The method further includes generating a delayed data value from the data value, latching the delayed data value in the second latch, comparing the data value with the delayed data value to determine whether the critical path comprises a timing failure condition, and executing a predetermined corrective measure for the critical path. Abstract: In a webbing winder, when a webbing belt is wound around a spool, a V gear is rotated in a winding direction together with a W pawl, a friction spring, and a contact member, thereby generating a frictional force between the contact member and a sensor holder. As a consequence, the friction spring and the contact member are located at a restriction position, so that the friction spring engages with an engaging surface of the W pawl. Therefore, even if the spool and the V gear are rapidly and slightly rotated in a withdrawal direction in reaction when the webbing belt is completely wound by the spool, the W pawl cannot mesh with a ratchet gear formed at the sensor holder due to the restriction of oscillation of the W pawl, thus preventing any end lock.
Abstract: Disclosed is an elastic device which is suitable for a sliding opening/closing apparatus of a portable appliance. The elastic device includes a first torsion spring including a first spiral part which is wound as a spiral shape without a vertical overlapping portion and a first extension arm extending from an outer portion of the first spiral part; a second torsion spring including a second spiral part which is wound as a spiral shape without a vertical overlapping portion thereof and a second extension arm extending from an outer portion of the second spiral part. The elastic device also includes a connection member connecting one of both ends of the first torsion spring and one of both ends of the second torsion spring with each other. The elastic device may have a smaller thickness in comparison with that of a conventional torsion spring having a vertical overlapping portion thereof.
