The toy game apparatus further includes a mechanism for automatically moving the mouth portion to a closed position, propelling the game apparatus forwardly, and producing a screeching sound when a randomly preselected tooth is removed from the mouth portion.
Abstract: A sexual sterilization clip comprises an upper and lower jaw of plastics material with capture means for capturing the fallopian tube or vas deferens the capture means being provided with a soft lining.
Abstract: A universal pressurizing adaptor for pressurizing an engine cooling system in leak testing is connectible to the cooling system of an automotive vehicle. The adaptor includes a cylindrical body having an adaptor neck located at one end, and an overflow vent and a flexible adaptor hose attached to an outlet neck located at the other end of the adaptor. The adaptor neck is connectible to a conventional pressure cap of a pressurizing pump and the adaptor hose is connectible to the overflow vent joined to the filler neck of the radiator of the automotive vehicle.
Abstract: A toy gear assembly includes a base, a ring gear assembly, a drive gear, a tripod-like support frame assembly and a plurality of secondary gears. The ring gear assembly includes a rotatable gear ring portion and the ring gear assembly and the drive gear are securable on the base so that the drive gear is received in the interior of the ring gear assembly for rotating the gear ring portion thereof. The support frame assembly is also releasably securable on the base and the secondary gears are receivable on the base and on the support frame assembly for forming various different gear train combinations thereon.
Abstract: A latching assembly for hingeably connected face-to-face plate members includes an automatic latching assembly for automatically latching said members in a predetermined angular relation to each other when one of the plates is swung away from the other and for automatically releasing and rendering said latching assembly inoperative in response to further opening movement of the members, whereby the members may be returned to their original face-to-face position.

Abstract: A toy doll having a body portion in the shape of a vegetable is imbedded in a simulated flower pot packed with an artificial potting soil. The doll is formed from a resilient foam, and has arms and legs extending from the body, and fanciful hair extending upwardly therefrom. A package of seeds for growing the vegetable characterized by the doll is releasably attached to one of the hands of the doll. The doll is imbedded in the flower pot such that the fanciful hair projects upwardly above the artificial potting soil. The package of seeds becomes available for planting when a child grasps the exposed hair and removes the doll from the flower pot by pulling upwardly.
Abstract: A process for the centrifugal casting of copper, copper alloys, or other oxygen sensitive alloys, such as bronze, is effective for avoiding or reducing the formation of an oxide layer on the inner surface of the casting. The process essentially consists of applying powdered borax in a layer thickness of 0.5 mm to 4 mm onto the still liquid inner surface of the casting immediately after pouring the casting. The preferred thickness of the borax is 1 mm to 3 mm. Finely divided mixtures of metals which have an affinity for oxygen, such Mg, Li, Ce, and/or powders of graphite and/or fire clay and/or charcoal, can also be combined with the borax as additional additives for special casting processes. Apparatus for introducing the borax into the mold includes a trough which is extendable into the interior of the mold. The trough is either rotatably supported in a housing that is movable relative to the mold, or pivotally supported along a bottom portion of a pouring tube which is movable relative to the mold.
Abstract: A self-leveling shim for centrifugal casting apparatus of the type wherein piston means maintain two-part elastomer molds in pressurized engagement with each other during the molding operation, said shim comprising an inflatable bladder positioned between said piston means and said molds, said bladder being inflatable only at selected portions thereof, so as to apply shim pressure at the portions of the molds where such pressure is required.
Abstract: A container (10) particularly for shampoo or shower gel having a cap (22) which removably covers a dispensing outlet (20) at one end (12) of the container. The cap is provided with a hook (34) which is movable from a first position in which it lies along or below the surface of the cap and a second position in which it projects from the cap surface. In use the cap is fitted to the bottom (24) of the container and with the hook in the second position the container can be suspended upside down.
Abstract: A novelty jewelry article and method of making same includes a swinging ornament which is suspended within a hoop. The hoop is hollow and has a seam along the inside edge thereof. A pair of holes are drilled along the seam a predetermined distance from each open end of the hoop. The seam above the holes is spread apart. A monofilament having metallic balls crimped to opposing ends thereof is assembled with the hoop wherein the balls are inserted into the open ends of the hoop until the filament reaches the drilled holes and stretches tautly across the hoop. The balls are then glued in place and end castings, one of which may include an earring post, are applied to the open ends of the hoop. An ornament is then secured to the monofilament where it may swing back and forth.
Abstract: Crosshead deflector for extrusion wire coating, including a wire guide tube carried in a holder, which holder is mounted in the main bore of a main body; a radial passage enters the main bore to introduce molten plastic and the holder is formed to bring about even flow around the guide tube for application to the wire as it moves out of the tube.
Abstract: There is disclosed apparatus of and a method for inhibiting corossion of reinforcement in a reinforced structure wherein one or more anodes (3) are arranged adjacent a surface of the structure (1) to be protected and a body of ionically conductive cementitious material (6) is arranged to suround the anodes and make contact with ionically conductive cementitious material of the structure (1), said body of ionically conductive cementitious material (6) being surrounded by a cover (4) of moisture resistant substantially non-porous material to maintain said material (6) in an ionically conducting condition. Said electrodes (3) and reinforcement (2) within the body (1) can be electrically connected to cause a current to pass through said two sorts of ionically conductive cementitious material to protect the reinforcement (2) against electrolytic corrosion.
Abstract: A ball and elastic cord is affixed to a finger band so that the ball may be thrown, retrieved and paddled by a user's hand. A finger band comprising a strip wrapped about and secured to a finger by locking means such as frictional fabric pads hold the cord snugly about a finger. The cord is firmly secured while permitting adjustment of cord length by threading through apertures in stiffened plates on opposite sides of the strip. The ball in one embodiment has a fabric cover internally filled like a bean bag with plastic pellets and contains a semi-spherical internal cup anchor for securing the cord to the ball. An electronic circuit with a spring biased switch responds to a predetermined force threshold on the cord for signalling by audio or visual means identifying different balls to be used in various games. One or more photo-diode lamps thus can identify one of several balls or players directly or by means of shaped decals, etc.
