  • Patent number: 7174579
Abstract: An electronic temperature display system that connects directly to a water outlet comprising a sensor coupling unit, bushing, and a display panel assembly. Microprocessor-based circuitry monitors both temperature and the presence or absence of water through the water outlet. The device displays real-time shower temperature on a self-contained unit consisting of a position adjustable display panel. A programmable temperature scorching setting provides protection from scorching by signaling an audible warning tone when the water temperature has gone passed a preset temperature. The device displays true water temperature by monitoring temperature and water conductivity inside the sensor-coupling unit.

  • Patent number: 7137181
Abstract: A tool for mounting a flexible slotted sleeve to hold more than one cable/wire together. The sleeve includes repetitive cuts cooperatively positioned to enhance the flexibility of the sleeve. The tool includes a slotted tubular member with a longitudinal slot through which the wires and cables are passed to be temporarily received within the slotted tubular member. A cylindrical member is mounted to the slotted tubular member, at an angle, with a distal rounded closed end and an open end that coincides into one of the open ends of the slotted tubular member. As the slotted sleeve is brought against the rounded closed end, its slot is opened and travels open towards the open end where the cables are. After leaving the open end of the slotted tubular member, the slotted sleeve is released embracing the cables to be protected.

  • Patent number: 7124452
Abstract: An electronic shower temperature display device that connects directly to an existing shower arm and showerhead assembly comprising a sensor coupling unit, panel support bracket, and a display panel assembly. Microprocessor-based circuitry monitors both temperature and the presence or absence of water through the device and the showerhead. The device displays real-time shower temperature on a self-contained unit consisting of a position adjustable display panel. A programmable memory storage system is used for retrieving multi-user temperature settings, whereby provides an audible tone when the desired temperature is arrived at. A programmable temperature scorching setting provides protection from scorching by signaling an audible warning tone when the shower temperature has gone passed a preset temperature. The device displays true water temperature by monitoring temperature and water conductivity inside the sensor-coupling unit.

  • Patent number: 7121531
Abstract: A gate assembly with moving gate members with one pivoting end and a moving end. This moving end includes upper and lower tubular members that receive the ends of a protruding reinforcement member mounted to a housing for the locking hardware. The ends of the protruding reinforcement member extend internally a sufficient distance to enhance the structural integrity of the moving end. The reinforcement member readily aligns the housing with the tubular members of the moving end and provides a sturdy structure that is tamper proof. Through openings in the walls of the housing cooperate to permit the operation of the locking hardware.

  • Patent number: 7097852
Abstract: A solution comprised filtered natural sea water comprising pharmaceutically active salts and trace elements having a direct effect in the respiratory tissues and secretions as expectorant, mucolytic, decongestant and virucidal. Aerosolized treatments of the solution for a patient in need thereof dehydrates tissue, destroys mucous plugs, and mobilizes phlegm in the respiratory tract. A method of preparing the solution, comprises extracting seawater from a depth beyond where microscopic organism known as plankton lives, in an ocean; filtering said seawater to obtain desired concentration of elements; testing said seawater for microbiological and chemical analysis; and preparing the solution for packaging, having a predetermined approximated seawater element content as expectorant, mucolytic, decongestant, and virucidal.

  • Patent number: 7080959
Abstract: A shoring device that utilizes an accessory assembly mounted to a vertical tubular member of a tubular scaffold assembly to receive a shoring member therethrough. With an adjustable threaded ring mounted over the threaded portion of said accessory assembly, a supporting surface or edge is provided to a locking pin that passes through cooperating slots in the accessory assembly and radial through holes in the shoring post member to keep the post member and the accessory assembly at a fixed position with respect to each other. The lower most end of the threaded portion comes in abutting contact with the upper end of the scaffold vertical member thus transmitting the bearing load therethrough. A user can selectively adjust the effective length of the scaffold and shoring assemblies by rotating the ring assembly.

  • Patent number: 7063064
Abstract: A progressive internal combustion engine that improves fuel efficiency, power output, and decreases emissions having a standard four stroke operation; the intake stroke, compression stroke, power stroke, and exhaust stroke when cylinders are engaged. The progressive internal combustion engine provides for disengaging cylinders. When disengaged, a bypass valve opens, allowing the disengaged cylinder to operate free of compression. The progressive internal combustion engine may be utilized for gasoline, diesel and natural gas type engines.

  • Patent number: 7059223
Abstract: A tool to replace motorcycle brake pads is used for back seating disc brake pistons into their bores to make room for replacement of old brake pads with new brake pads. The tool comprises a pair of curved elongated substantially flat members wedged at both ends that mount onto either side of wheel assembly disc or rotor. Once mounted upon the disc or rotor, the wheel assembly is rotated, causing the wedged ends to slide in between the disc brake pistons and the wheel assembly disc or rotor. This forcing the seating of disc brake pistons into their bores when the plateaued section of the tool is forced between the seating disc brake pistons and the wheel assembly disc or rotor, thus making room for the installation of new brake pads.

  • Patent number: 7013597
Abstract: A tree ring that inhibits and/or prevents vegetation growth around the trunks of trees. The tree ring comprises an elastic outer peripheral edge and an elastic inner peripheral edge. In between elastic outer peripheral edge and the elastic inner peripheral edge is a flexible sheet. The flexible sheet has a plurality of holes. The tree ring is removably secured onto a tree pot of any dimension, size, or shape. The elastic outer peripheral edge stretches around the rim of the tree pot, and the elastic inner peripheral edge snugly fits around a tree trunk. It is noted that the distance between the elastic outer peripheral edge and the elastic inner peripheral edge that makes up flexible sheet may vary.

  • Patent number: 6178908
Abstract: A wind scoop for hatches and designed to direct and restrict the amount of wind through a hatch opening and if necessary, cut the wind completely. The scoop is collapsible for easy storage and transportation. A rigid sheet is scored to define foldable walls that form an intake opening and direct the wind therethrough. A wall is pivotally housed within the walls and movable between two extreme positions for allowing maximum air through or blocking it. A removable notched bar bites on the distal said of the pivoting wall to keep the latter at a predetermined position. An elastic cord is attached at one end inside the wind scoop and the other end passes through the hatch opening and it is attached to an elongated member with dimensions larger than the opening. The stretched cord keeps the wind scoop in place.

  • Patent number: 5110242
Abstract: An apparatus for storing four vehicles inside a maritime container using a platform (20) with locking mechanisms (40) for suspending it at a pre-determined distance from the floor of the container. Jack assemblies (60) are used to lower or raise the platform depending on the characteristics of the vehicle being loaded. Leaking fluid pans (32) are cooperatively and removably mounted to the platform (20) in order to prevent any damage to the vehicles on the lower level. The platform assembly (20) extends the entire span of the container where it is housed with the two parallel structural lateral members (24 and 24') kept in a spaced apart relationship by girder members (25) and spacer members (26). The vehicles are tied down during transportation to minimize movement.
