Abstract: The objective lens assembly of an optical inspection device is surrounded coaxially of its optical axis by an illuminator housing having therein a central opening surrounded by a circular array of reflective mirror surfaces or facets that are inclined at like angles to the optical axis, and which register with the light emitting of a like circular array of LEDs mounted in the housing in radially spaced, coaxial relation to the mirror facets. Mounted coaxially beneath the illuminator housing for vertical adjustment relative thereto is a generally disc-shaped Fresnel lens. The lens is movable by drive means optionally between an uppermost position adjacent the underside of the housing and a lowermost position adjacent the work that is to be inspected.
Abstract: A machine (10) for making products such as iced beverages and the like comprises a tank (11) to contain the product in which cooling means (12) and stirring means (13) are present. The tank comprises a product-dispensing tap (14) having a slidable piston (15) and which is provided with sealing elements (17, 18) to offer a hydraulic outward seal to the tank when the tap is in a closed condition. The piston portion (23) between the sealing elements and in contact with the product in the tank has a reduced section to form regions (19) of free circulation of the product around the piston. The tank may comprise surfaces (20) for conveying the product towards such regions so as to facilitate circulation thereof. Thus the product stagnation that may cause bacteria and pollutant formation is avoided and the cleaning operation with use of sanitising solutions is facilitated.
Abstract: A device (1) for conveying and checking containers, in particular preforms, comprises an infeed and accumulation section (2) for containers arriving from a forming station and a carrousel (3) located downstream of the infeed and accumulation section (2) in the direction of feed of the containers, to feed the containers through a sequence of checking stations (4) disposed in the periphery of carrousel (3). The infeed section is intermittently supplied with containers by the forming station while the carrousel (3) turns continuously. An endless chain (5) extends along a path defined by driving gearwheels (6) which partially overlaps the infeed and accumulation section (2) and the circular trajectory of the carrousel (3). A first and second driving gearwheels (9a, 9b) positioned along the path followed by the endless chain (5) are mobile to compensate the variations in the length of a delivery section and a return section of the chain (5).
Abstract: A crossbow (1) includes a frame (2) having at least a flexing element (3) and a bowstring (4) strung between opposite ends of the flexing element (3) positioned substantially perpendicular, under rest conditions, to the shooting axis of the crossbow. On the frame (2) is mounted a trigger block (8) provided with means for catching and releasing the bowstring. The trigger block (8) can be translated on a rectilinear path parallel to the longitudinal axis of the crosssbow, in which in a first phase the trigger block advances towards the flexing element (3) until it automatically catches the bowstring (4), and in a second phase the trigger block (8) moves back until reaching a positioning of correct tensioning of the bowstring. The trigger block is actuated by electromechanical means shaped in such a way as to produce on the trigger block (8) a force that is substantially parallel to the shooting axis of the crossbow to carry out said first and second phase.

Pivotally mounted on the bowl (12) is the end (14) of a pivoting arm (15) the opposite end of which (16) is rectilinear and slidably mounted to an extremity of an L-shaped element (17). The other extremity of the element (17) is slidably mounted to the base (11). Disposed between one extremity (18) of the L-shaped element and the base (11) is first means (20) for adjustment of the mutual position of same in their sliding direction (21) whereas between the other extremity (19) of the L-shaped element and the rectilinear end (16) of the pivoting arm is second means (23) for adjustment of the mutual position of same in their sliding direction (22).
Abstract: This invention refers to a supporting structure (10) for sheet material as sheet metal material (100) cut out by a laser device (200) located above the sheet material and focused on the same, with means of movement between the laser device and the sheet material and/or supporting structure. The supporting structure substantially comprises vertically mounted parallel rows of identical narrow sheet strips (12), each having raised integrated support areas (22) for the sheet material (100) between recessed grooves (20).
To increase the life time of the sheet strips and therefore the life of the supporting structure, and at the same time to prevent damage to the underside of the sheet material as sheet metal, needles (24) are set onto the integrated support areas (22) of the sheet strips (12), the free ends of which form points of support (26) for the sheet material (100) laid upon them.

Abstract: An actuator for gates, doors and the like, with at least one wing. The actuating motor (14) and the associated motor reduction unit (15) are housed inside as half-arm (2) which turns on a fixed support (9) in an oscillating way about a substantially vertical swinging axis (10). Advantageously, the electric motor (14) operates a maneuvering worm screw (12) which is carried by said half-arm (2) and engages a corresponding helical gear (13) coaxial with the swinging axis (10) and is fastened to the fixed support of the half-arm (2) by a torque-limiting device which prevents excessive stresses on the actuator as a result of external forces and also makes it possible to release the helical gear for manual emergency actuation of the wing.
Abstract: A linear actuator for gates, doors or similar has an actuator arm (1) which is articulated to a support (3) around a vertical axis (15) and be raisable angularly around a horizontal inclination axis (16). The actuator arm (1) has a screw (7) which is operated by an electric motor (11) and a running nutscrew (8) articulated to the gate wing (5) by a leadnut holder (18) in which the nutscrew (8) is housed in a manner turning around an axis horizontal and transversal to the actuator arm (1). The leadnut holder (18) has a vertical lower articulation pivot (20) which engages from above in a turning manner in a bush (22) fastened to the wing (5). In an emergency the actuator is disengaged from the gate wing (5) by raising the actuator arm (1) angularly around its inclination axis (16) and extracting upward the articulation pivot (20) of the leadnut holder (18) from the bush (22).
Abstract: The frame of a polishing machine has a disc-shaped polishing table mounted thereon for rotation coaxially about a vertical axis, the table having thereon an upper, generally planar polishing surface for removably supporting thereon a plurality of annular workpiece carriers for rotation therewith and for rotation about their repsective axes relative to the table. The outer peripheral surface of each carrier is disposed to be engaged at angularly spaced points thereabout by a pair of rollers mounted on the frame for rotation about spaced, vertical axes. The output of a single AC electric motor is connected to the table to effect rotation thereof about its vertical axis, and to one roller of each pair thereof to drive the one roller about its axis. The one roller of each such pair thereof is in driving, rolling engagement with the carrier engaged thereby, while the other roller of such pair is rotated by the engaged carrier.
Abstract: A packaging machine using a heat-shrinkable film comprises a frame (14, 16) for peripheral sealing of a film (19) segment and a tunnel (21) disposed alongside the frame, in which means (27) for air circulation is arranged, which air is heated by electrical heating elements (28) for shrinkage of the sealed film which is introduced into the tunnel. The machine comprises means (34) for detecting a condition associable with the presence in the machine of a product wrapped in a film to be shrunk. This detecting means (34) upon detection of said condition produces a signal (33) for temporary actuation of the hot-air circulation means (27).
Abstract: A hinge for furniture comprises a fastening base (11) carrying the hinge articulation (14). The fastening base has a slot (18) passed through by a screw (12) for fastening to the piece of furniture.
