    Abstract: An automatic hopper fill system for a coin dispensing machine. An auxiliary coin reservoir container is positioned entirely within the machine to perform the hopper fill function when the hopper becomes empty. The container includes an opening or chute which is normally blocked by an electro-mechanically controlled release door and opened electronically by a circuit which reads a hopper empty code generated to release the auxiliary coin reserve into the hopper. An indicator light is mounted on the external surface of the machine to indicate that the auxiliary container has released the coin reserve into the hopper so that the auxiliary container can be re-filled with coins at a convenient time.

The spout and circumferential skirt are of a color that contrasts with the color of the base and post, so that, upon movement of the spout on the post, the circumferential skirt remains in the channel to provide a visual indication of such movement.

The fitting portion of the clamp holder is also to be fixed to the panel plate in the state of the fitting portion being fitted on the outer circumference of the housing of the connector body so that the clamp holder made of the resin, the housing of the connector body and the panel plate are integrally fixed to one another.

When the lid is in closed position over the base, the reduced thickness portion of the lid is disposed adjacent to the angled deck surface. Upon exertion of a force against said reduced thickness portion of the lid, said portion flexes inwardly and a terminal edge thereof ramps upwardly on the angled deck surface to cause the lid to pivot into open position with respect to the base.

A mating connector socket of the shell is positioned so as to open outwardly of the electrical appliance. The shell has an auxiliary leg to be fixed to the circuit board. The auxiliary leg is formed by extension pieces extending from part of the shell on the side of the mating connector socket with respect to the fixing legs of the shell. The auxiliary leg serves to mount the electrical connector on the circuit board with great stability which is maintained for a long time.

The nickel oxide layer portion is located between a terminal portion of the electronic part to be soldered as in a surface mounting process and a contact portion continuous to and extending from the terminal portion. The nickel oxide layer has a width of the order of 0.2 to 1 mm in the longitudinal direction of the contact and has a performance preventing the flowing of molten solder, thereby effectively preventing the flowing and wicking due to wetting of solder of the solder-plated portion toward the other portions as in the surface mounting process.

    Abstract: A propeller shaft includes male and female shafts, each having at one end a yoke and at the other end a spline sliding portion. At least one of these shafts is wholly made of a hollow tube and its one end is worked to form an integral yoke and the other end is plastically worked with a die to form an integral spline sliding portion. A separate yoke may be welded to the hollow tube. The spline sliding portion thus formed has spline teeth of an integer number within the range of numerals obtained by multiplying the numeral indicating a larger spline diameter in mm by 0.12 to 0.25. The spline teeth has a spline tooth root angle within the range of 90 to 120 degrees enclosed between side faces of adjacent spline teeth. The propeller shaft reduces man-hour for producing it to improve the production efficiency and hence reduce its cost.

The tear lever includes a free edge disposed spaced from said hinge portion and connected to a free edge of said tamper band at two securement points only. The cap is removable from the container by pulling on said tear lever to separate same from the tamper band at the two securement points and pivoting the lever about the hinge to disengage the annular flange from the annular lip.

The container neck includes an outwardly projecting, ramped rib having a lower ramp end. The cap has at least one projection extending inwardly from a sidewall, with the projection being normally positioned radially spaced outside of the ramped rib, but being manually movable inwardly with the side wall to engage the ramped rib near the lower end in a predetermined rotational position of the cap. A detent member hold the cap in a position closing the container mouth but permitting cap rotation. The sidewall may be squeezed to engage the projection and ramped rib, and rotated in one direction, with the ramped rib raising the projection, to force the cap upwardly to open the container by disengaging the detent member from its cap-holding position.
