Abstract: An air suspension bed for use in over-the-road trucks which utilizes an automotive air shock and a mechanical suspension to support a mattress, for use while a truck is in motion.
Abstract: A system and method for identifying a match between an industrial PC to a slot in a rack which uses a blind mating keying and locking plates, so that when the mechanical keying plate and locking plate do match, then full insertion of the PC into the slot is permitted. When a mis-match occurs, then full insertion is prohibited.
Abstract: A system and method for blind-mateably electrically connecting a 1 U industrial personal computer with an industrial PC receiving bay in a rack, where the 1 U industrial personal computer has a first dedicated blind-mateable connector for standard equipment disposed on a bracket at the back end of an industrial PC and a second dedicated blind mateable connector for use with a later added expansion card, where the connectors are coupled to circuitry in the 1U industrial personal computer via jumper cables.

Abstract: A drumstick with a laser disposed therein for emitting light to be shown upon a distant object which may include a photo detector coupled with audio visual equipment to be controlled, via drumstick, by a musician.
Abstract: A diaphragm game call having an integral dome-shaped resonant cavity coupled to and disposed above a frame containing a latex diaphragm and a flexible game call having a flexible sound chamber coupled to a multi-part mouthpiece assembly which includes therein a removable diaphragm with a dome-shaped resonant cavity and a method of operating the game call in which the diaphragm is placed between the caller's teeth.
Abstract: A computer having a backplane and a motherboard disposed on the backplane along with expansion slots for receiving expansion cards. The backplane further having circuitry coupled thereto for performing an alarm function where the alarm circuitry is not coupled to a card occupying one of the expansion slots, instead the alarm circuitry is coupled to the backplane in a manner so that it is not directly under the supervision of the system processor on the motherboard. The alarm circuitry including processors which use the LON bus protocols for receiving and transmitting information relating to environmental conditions in the PC.

Abstract: A handheld computer which uses a palm operating system and which incorporates a compact flash (CF+) interface for secondary data storage or interface to other devices and uses a FAT file system for file management with said CF+ media. The disclosure further include references to alternate types of secondary storage such as disk drives and multimedia cards and further discloses that the handheld computer may be embodied in a portable telephone of scanner.
Abstract: A system and method for latching an industrial PC to a rack which uses a front end mounted handle which actuates a retractable hook member which engages a void in the shelf of a slot in the rack.
Abstract: A system and method for dispensing prophylaxis paste during dental cleaning procedures which includes a flow control valve, which is actuated by pressure between the prophy cup and the tooth and also includes a source of prophylaxis paste delivered at a relatively constant pressure.
Abstract: A contaminant flushing machine for removing contaminants from a container, such as an engine transmission or transmission cooler which includes hoses for coupling to the transmission cooler and a pump for circulating fluid through the hoses and the transmission cooler and a fluid filter having a reduced tendency towards causing vaporization of the fluid. Also included in the contaminant flushing machine is an automatic aeration system for injecting air into the circulating fluid at predetermined intervals. Additionally, a reverse flow piping circuit is included to permit automatic and electric manipulation of the flow direction of fluid through said transmission cooler while at the same time not altering the direction of flow of fluid through the filter and the pump.
Abstract: A connector assembly suitable for use with a leveraging system is disclosed. The assembly includes two connector components, each having an attachment component receiving portion and a pin-coupling portion. The pin-coupling portions cooperate, in an assembled connector assembly, to define a closed pin-receiving orifice passing through the connector assembly. The assembly can be quickly coupled to and from a fixed pin structure, thereby facilitating changing of an attachment component such as a knob hook. Additional features include a releasable securing device that secures the connector components into a connector assembly. Also, inclusion of a rounded transitional surface on each connector component permits use, and quick attachment, of the assembly in environments wherein space is otherwise unduly restricted around the pin to be coupled. A method for using the connector assembly is also disclosed.

Abstract: A system for dumping material from a dump box in a pickup truck where the dump box first rolls slightly to the rear so as to clear a bumper or other structure on the rear of the vehicle. Then the dump box lifts via hydraulic side mounted pistons.
Abstract: A game call having a bellows coupled to a reed for producing sound, together with a reed controller which is operable by contact with the bellows, thereby changing the pitch of the sound produced.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to the remote operation of an auger attached to a portable unit for storing and transporting particulate matter. A bin having a number of sidewalls which converge downwardly and inwardly to a discharge end secured to a frame. A discharge chute is attached to the bin to receive particulate matter from the bin and transfer the particulate matter from the bin. An unloading auger is secured within the discharge chute and powered by a motor which is secured to the frame. In general operation, a clutch assembly engages the motor to the unloading auger causing the particulate matter to be unloaded. A user may use a transmitter to send a signal to a receiver which increases or decreases the output of the motor and engages or disengages the clutch such that the auger may be started or stopped. The transmitter and receiver may communicate using a radio signal. Additionally, wheels may support the frame and a trailer hitch may be attached.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for reconditioning tires while on lift trucks where a cutting tool is mounted to the lift truck and brought in contact with the tire and the tire is rotated, thereby removing material to return the tire to a more circular shape.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for carrying, using and storing in the field various hunting supplies including a back pad and other material is disclosed. A vest with a padded back and sides containing pockets is worn by a hunter in to the woods. When the hunter arrives at a tree a tree belt is extended and secured around the tree and the vest is removed and hung from the belt. The padded back is positioned so that the hunter can lean against it while on stand. The sides of the vest are extended around the tree so that the pockets are easily reachable by the hunter while on stand. The tree belt is used for holding other hunting accessories as well.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for fixating an eye during ocular surgery, including inserting a two-pronged tool through an incision in the cornea into the anterior chamber. The two prongs prohibit movement of the eye in all directions. An alternate embodiment provides for use of two such two-pronged tools which are coupled together and each of the two-pronged tools is inserted in the incision and help to prohibit movement of the eye.
