  • Patent number: 8274702
Abstract: The subject application is directed to a system and method for color space conversion. Image data is received comprised of a plurality of pixels having a value encoded in a first multidimensional color space. Each of the pixels encoded in the first color space is converted to a corresponding pixel encoded in a second multidimensional color space, the conversion further including transforming each of the pixels based upon a function of the pixel values in the first color space having component values defining a fractional relationship having a numerator portion and a denominator portion, with each portion including at least one of the component values. A value of each denominator portion is converted relative to a threshold value and the pixels encoded in the first color space are converted to the second color space with an alternative quantity selectively substituted for each denominator portion in accordance with the comparison.

  • Patent number: 8267601
Abstract: To compensate for changes in weight distribution of transportable, hand-held camera supports when one or both camera translate or pivot in a two-camera stereographic imaging system, the bottom of the elongated camera support attaches to a compensation mechanism. The mechanism has a balance plate movable laterally on a bottom housing. Ballast mounts below the bottom housing. A motor in the bottom housing moves the balance plate and the pole laterally in response to camera pivoting or lateral movement to maintain the center of gravity of the system centered along the longitudinal axis of the elongated support.

  • Patent number: 8270008
Abstract: The subject application is directed to a system and method for on-demand generation of a selectable input for enacting a previous document processing device control sequence. User identification data is received, and a document processing session is opened. A sequence of instructions is then received, and data associated with the sequence is logged according to identification data. After the session opening, logged data is stored in associated memory. Data of a request to generate a selectable input corresponding to the logged data is then received, and testing is performed to determine whether data has been logged in a current session. Data logged during the session is associated with the selectable input, and stored data is retrieved and associated with the selectable input when no data has been logged during the current session. The sequence of selected instructions is then commenced upon the selection of the selectable input by the user.

  • Patent number: 8265694
Abstract: The subject application is directed to a system and method for obtaining address data from a portable device to a document processing device. An address book, including address entries accessible via the document processing device, is stored in a data storage associated with a document processing device controller. Selection data is then received from an associated user, following which an address entry is retrieved from the address book. Document processing operations are then commenced in accordance with the retrieved address entries. A portable telecommunication device, proximate to the document processing device, is then discovered via a wireless transceiver. The portable device includes an integrated data storage containing contact data of contact information for contact destinations. After discovery, a data connection is established with the portable telecommunications device over which contact data is received. • Patent number: 8248926
Abstract: There are disclosed an apparatus, a machine readable media, and methods for testing a network. The apparatus may include a statistics engine coupled to a memory. The statistics engine may extract a packet group identifier (PGID) from a packet received from the network and retrieve traffic statistics associated with the PGID from the memory. The retrieved traffic statistics may include a packets-per-interval count and a packets-per-interval threshold, the packets-per-interval count indicating a number of packets received within a time interval of a sequence of time intervals. At the start of each new time interval, the statistics engine may set a flag indicating whether or not the packets-per-interval count for the previous time interval was equal to or greater than the packets-per-interval threshold. The flag may be saved in the memory as part of the traffic statistics associated with the extracted PGID.
