  • Patent number: 8301582
Abstract: A dynamic constraint solver for solving a constraint satisfaction problem network that includes a plurality of nodes and a plurality of constraints determines a cardinality for a set of sub-problems. The cardinality is a numeric domain that represents the minimum number of instances in a port. The solver determines if a number of identifiable instances of sub-problems is less than the minimum number of instances. The solver then causes a user interface to display the identifiable instances and a placeholder for each instance that is below the minimum number of instances and is not identifiable.

  • Patent number: 8295178
Abstract: Read-only VoIP node configuration includes monitoring the VoIP network to determine the performance of the various nodes, and data from nodes is collected and stored. Where the nodes are not currently operating or cannot be monitored, no data is assigned in the non-operating nodes. The monitoring results are presented to a user, and misconfigured or faulty nodes are identified based upon predefined criteria. Information is then provided to a user to guide the user through the process of configuring the identified faulty/misconfigured node. The configuration commands for an appropriate network device may be presented to user so that user (with write authority) may implement and carry out the configurations commands.

  • Patent number: 8294318
Abstract: An electric motor (M) includes first and second stators (12L, 12R) on the outside forming a rotating magnetic field, an outer rotor (13) disposed inside the first and second stators (12L, 12R) and having first and second induced magnetic poles (38L, 38R), and an inner rotor (14) disposed inside the outer rotor (13) and having first and second permanent magnet (52L, 52R). The phases of the first and second induced magnetic poles (38L, 38R) of the outer rotor (13) are displaced from each other by only half of a predetermined pitch, and the phases of the first and second permanent magnets (52L, 52R) of the inner rotor (14) are displaced from each other by only the predetermined pitch. Accordingly, the first and second stators (12L, 12R) facing the first induced magnetic poles (38L) and the second induced magnetic pole (38R) can be made to have the same phase and polarity, thus simplifying the structures of the first and second stators (12L, 12R).
