Abstract: The invention describes a spring arrangement for spring drive unit, which spring arrangement comprises a spring, a pullrod connected at a first pullrod end to a first spring end of the spring and connected at an opposite second pullrod end to a rotary shaft of the spring drive unit, a frame plate against which a second spring end of the spring is mounted and the frame plate being provided with an opening through which the pullrod extends to be connected to the shaft. Further, the first spring end of the spring, to which the pullrod is connected, is unguided, and the parameters of the spring are chosen in response to the operating conditions of the spring drive unit such that the spring is stable during operation.
Abstract: A wiper for a vehicle including: a wiper stripe; a plurality of supports combined with the wiper strip; first and second yokes slidably supporting the plurality of supports; a first auxiliary lever having one end combined with a middle portion of the first yoke; a second auxiliary lever having one end combined with a middle portion of the second yoke; and a primary lever having one end combined with the first auxiliary lever and another end combined with the second auxiliary lever and including an arm combination hole in which a wiper arm is combined with a center of the primary lever, wherein the primary lever is combined with the first auxiliary lever and the second auxiliary lever, the first auxiliary lever and the first yoke are combined with each other, and the second auxiliary lever and the second yoke are combined with each other.
Abstract: A rotating valve apparatus includes a cylindrical casing; a shaft arranged symmetrically in the casing; a member fixedly attached to the shaft and in close fit with the cylindrical casing, defining separated chambers within the casing; at least one outlet fixedly arranged along the circumference of the casing; and a plurality of axially arranged inlets, each of which being constantly in fluid communication with a respective one of the separated chambers, wherein the axially arranged inlets are alternately in fluid connection with the outlet fixedly arranged along the circumference of the casing in response to rotation of the shaft and the member with respect to the casing. The outlet(s) has/have a fluid path length that varies along the circumference of the casing depending on the rotational speed of the shaft such that the interfaces between fluids originating from different ones of the axially arranged inlets will be essentially vertical to the flow direction of the fluids.
Abstract: A system for interfacing a sampling device and a chromatograph and for pre-concentrating analytes in a sample prior to introducing the sample into the chromatographic column is generally disclosed comprising an interface housing with a first channel and an adsorbent housing with a second channel, which contains at least one adsorbent. Valveless conduits permit fluid to be communicated between the sampling device and the first channel, between the first channel and the second channel, and the first channel and the column. In some embodiments, fluid flows in one direction when the analytes are adsorbed and in the opposite direction when analytes are desorbed. In certain embodiments, two different adsorbents are disposed in the second channel to adsorb different types of analytes.

Abstract: The invention discloses an oscillatingly driven machine tool, having an oscillatory drive for driving a drive shaft about its longitudinal axis, having a flange provided on the drive shaft against which an oscillatory tool can be clamped by spring force via a counter flange, and having a displacing mechanism for displacing the counter flange between a working position in which the oscillatory tool is clamped by a spring between the flange and the counter flange and a released position in which the counter flange can be detached from the flange.
Abstract: A system for managing critical student information is disclosed generally comprising storing information associated with individual students, such as important medical information or contact information for the student's parent or guardian, and providing different authorized users, such as school administrators, teachers, or coaches, permission to access the information and/or send messages for particular students. The stored information for each student is associated with one or more group identifiers, which identify particular groups of which the student is a member, such as a school or team, and each authorized user is likewise associated with one or more group identifiers, which identify the particular groups for which the user has access and can send messages.
Abstract: A textile complex adapted to be attached to a communicating panel includes a textile sheet having, on at least one face, loops adapted to engage with a self-gripping strip provided with hooks; a coating film attached to a face of the textile sheet; and a printing ink deposited on the coating film. The textile complex has a capacity for preferential elastic deformation in a direction of deployment on the communicating panel. A communicating panel and to a corresponding method of display are also provided.
Abstract: A medical cleaning device is used to clean interior surfaces of hollow shafts of medical instruments. The device has a closed body which can be inserted into the hollow shaft of the medical instrument to be cleaned, an outer diameter of the body being smaller than a clear inner diameter of the hollow shaft such that an inner lumen remains which is reduced compared to the inner lumen of the hollow shaft. The body has a connection starting from one end, a cleaning liquid can be guided into the reduced inner lumen when the body is inserted in the hollow shaft. Furthermore, provision is made for a support by means of which the body can be supported on the medical instrument.
Abstract: An electric insulation material for an electric device includes one or several electrical conductors and an electric insulation material arranged around the conductor or between the conductors, which insulation material is impregnated with a dielectric insulation liquid. The electric insulation material includes a main layer that is provided with a surface layer that has a dielectric constant that is lower than the dielectric constant of the main layer.
