Abstract: A Calibration Method for Air Intake Tracts for Internal Combustion Engines is disclosed. The method tunes the replacement cold air intake so that the Original Equipment Mass Airflow Sensor will function with the emissions control system without check engine light illumination. The method uses the exhaust effluent composition to benchmark the OEM intake system and then to match the cold air intake to that benchmark test result. The method could use the exhaust effluent composition for calibration as well as verification, or the method could use Sensor signal output for calibration and then exhaust effluent composition for verification of the design specification.

Abstract: The Invention is a Well Cleaning Method and Apparatus using detonating cord having Additional Reliability and a Longer Shelf Life. The method and apparatus employs one or more subassemblies, each subassembly having a combustible material, means for igniting the combustible material, and one or more high-strength sleeves attached around portions of the combustible material to attenuate the outwardly-directed pressure wave created by ignition of the combustible material. The assemblies further exhibit staggered detonation with the simultaneous application of electrical current to all assemblies. The combustible material is further modified to add an additional outer impervious layer such that the combustible material exhibits prolonged shelf life and durability.
Abstract: Detachable Clearance Wands are disclosed. The wands provide a driver of a large vehicle having slideout compartments with a clear dimension for the extension length of the slideout. The wands are attachable to the vehicle's side prior to parking it to provide the extension length without risk of damage to the slideout. The wands are length-adjustable so that they can be configured for any length slideout. In an alternate embodiment, the wands are comprised of several pieces of wand material interconnected to one another, such that the wand can be collapsed for consolidation and storage when not in use.
Abstract: A Furniture Leg Extension and Leveling Device and Method for Use is disclosed. The device enables the user to adjust the height of a piece of furniture, such as a bathroom vanity cabinet. The device attaches with a single custom bolt that threads into a threaded insert that is screwed into a bore cut into the bottom of the legs. The device further includes a leveling foot for accomplishing fine adjustment to leg height to account for minute floor surface irregularities. The custom bolt used for attaching the extension member has a threaded post at one end and a threaded bore formed at its other end.
Abstract: A Real-time Emitter Locating (EL) System and Method is disclosed. The system provides a technique for taking in data sets (lines of bearing) from DF receivers and characterizing those signals with their respective probabilities of error. Then using a unique method, the preferred system applies a recursive processing technique to this continuous stream of data, displaying transmitter positions with significantly less uncertainty. Furthermore, the preferred system is able to perform these functions in real-time. The system is further capable of being fully automated to reduce the processing time and reduce the necessity of human intervention. Still further, in an alternative embodiment of the present invention the system can be remotely controlled over a communications network whereby collected locating data from a single DF set, or alternatively from more than one DF sets can be combined to arrive at estimated positions for a transmitter.
Abstract: A Punch Assembly and the method of use thereof is disclosed. Also disclosed is. The device is designed to be accepted within the chuck of a powder-actuated tool. The device can create a hole in steel decking when the device is shot into the decking by a powder-actuated tool. The device is defined by a mandrel and a detachable punch attached to it. The outer diameter of the mandrel is greater than the outer diameter of the punch so that when the mandrel prevents the device from passing through the hole created by the punch. The punch has a generally cylindrical shape and a cutting edge forming a pair of tips on opposing sides of the cylinder in order to improve the quality of the hole formed in the decking.
Abstract: A Pet Dish and Disposable Liner. The dish is durable and washable, but the liner is made from low-cost material such that it can be disposable, if desired. The dish and liner are both aesthetically pleasing, particularly since they resemble a pet's face. The dish and liners are cooperatively designed so that the liner inserted into the dish will not inadvertently be forced out by the eating pet, nor will the liner be allowed to spin within the dish. The dish and liner are also configured so that a stack of liners can be held conveniently within a single dish.
