Abstract: A toothbrush in which the head comprises a substantially rigid base region adjoining the toothbrush neck and extending from the base end of the head to a resilient flexible link situated between the base end and the tip end, and a tip region extending from the tip end of the head to the link region, both the base region and tip region being bristle bearing, the tip region being flexibly and resiliently linked at the link region to the base region, and between the base end of the head and the neck there is a resilient flexible link.
Abstract: Acidic oral compositions having reduced tooth erosion characteristics, especially acid beverages such as fruit juice drink concentrates, or oral healthcare products such as mouthwashes, are prepared by adding a calcium compound to the acid composition so that the mol ratio of calcium to acid ranges from 0.3 to 0.8, and the pH of the composition, if necessary after adjustment with an alkali, is from 3.5 to 4.5.
Abstract:
Compounds of formula (I) are inhibitors of the bacterial enzyme S aureus methionyl tRNA synthetase and are of use in treating bacterial infections.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for obtaining expression of a mixed hepatitis B surface antigen particle, e.g., a particle of mixed polypeptide composition, in yeast. Also disclosed is a method for obtaining multimeric structures presenting two or more polypeptides by expression in yeast as fusion proteins with the S antigen of HBsAg.
Abstract: A display for a flexible head toothbrush includes a first representation of a first bristled portion of a toothbrush head and a second representation of a second bristled portion of a toothbrush head. The first representation is interconnected with the second representation by a mechanical linkage. The mechanical linkage provides oscillatory pivotal movement of the second representation with respect to the first representation. The mechanical linkage is preferably an electromagnet motor, such as a self-starting swinging apparatus, powered by a solar cell. The second representation preferably depicts a tip end of the toothbrush head, while the first representation depicts a remaining portion of the toothbrush head. The display may also include a third representation of at least a portion of a toothbrush handle extending from the first representation. Further, the display may include a support having shelves that hold actual toothbrushes.
Abstract: This invention relates to a new monoargininyl salt form of the endothelin receptor antagonist (E)-3-[1-n-Butyl-5-[2-(2-carboxyphenyl)methoxy-4-chlorophenyl]-1H-pyrazol-4-yl]-2-[(5-methoxy-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran-6-yl)methyl]-prop-2-enoic acid.
