  • Patent number: 8188705
Abstract: The present invention is a charge method of a battery for an electric motor vehicle, in which a battery is charged by an outside electric source. A residual charge quantity of the battery is detected before charging. A maximum-quantity charge time Ttotal which is required for the residual charge quantity of the battery becoming the maximum quantity is calculated based on detection result. A driving-start time tds of the electric motor vehicle is estimated. A first charge is executed so as to be started from a driving stop of the electric motor vehicle, continued for a period of time which is shorter than the maximum-quantity charge time Ttotal, and completed before the driving-start time tds. A second charge is executed so as to be started after the first charge is completed and completed at the driving-start time tds.

  • Patent number: 8182450
Abstract: The label is executed as strip-shaped and adhered as directed in a self-overlapping fashion to a syringe body (1) which is inserted in a syringe protector formed from an insert (5) and a receiver (4). In the longitudinal direction of the strip it successively has a base section (11), two voucher sections (12a, 12b), a protective section (13), a holding section (14) and a grip tab (15). The label can be unrolled and pulled out from the syringe protector by a grip tab (15) so that the voucher sections (12a, 12b) are freely accessible. If necessary, after inserting the syringe body (1) into the syringe protector, the grip tab (15) can be extracted through lateral openings (24, 25) to a certain extent by gently turning the syringe body (1) relative to the syringe protector and then gripped since the grip tab (15) is at some distance after sticking the label onto the syringe body (1).

  • Patent number: 8175176
Abstract: The present invention provides an FFT window spread generating method used in the modulation of an OFDM system. When OFDM-modulated received signals each having a time length greater than or equal to an effective symbol length are demodulated by FFT processing using a spread FFT window, the spread FFT window makes use of received signals each having the time length greater than or equal to the effective symbol length. Spreading windows spread before and/or after the effective symbol length are provided. Received signals lying within the spreading windows are added to their corresponding received signals lying within the effective symbol length and different in time position by the effective symbol length, and the amplitudes of the added received signals are reduced to half respectively, thereby generating the spread FFT window.

  • Patent number: 8172303
Abstract: A link mechanism capable of setting any desirable speed of opening/closing a lid during a series of the opening/closing operation and capable of exerting a strong driving force is provided. A lid (6) is attached to a lid bracket (31). The lid bracket (31) is pivotally connected to a driving lever (14) and a coupled-driving lever (15) with which the lid (6) is opened or closed. The driving lever (14) is provided with a cam having an elongated hole (34), into which a driving pin (36) provided to a sector gear (13) is fitted. The sector gear (12) is driven by a motor through a pinion (22). According to rotation of the sector gear (13), the driving pin (36) moves in the elongated hole (34) and drives the driving lever (14). Since the distance between the center of the sector gear (13) and the driving pin (36) is larger than the radius of the pinion (22), such mechanism exerts a strong driving force.
