  • Patent number: 7963604
Abstract: The forwardly movable motor vehicle seat has a seat back (20) and a seat frame with a seat pan. The motor vehicle seat may be moved between a normal position of utilization and a forwardly moved position. An immobilizing device is associated with the seat frame. In particular, the seat back (20) has a seat back hinge (32) and a stopper device (40). The stopper device (40) retains the seat back (20) in the forward tilted position as long as the seat frame is located in a front portion of the travel path. The stopper device (40) enables said seat back to tilt upward into the normal position of utilization when the seat frame is located in a rear portion (74) of the travel path. The stopper device (40) has a first limit stop and a second limit stop, one limit stop being disposed on the seat frame and the other one on the seat back (20).

  • Patent number: 7955228
Abstract: A bicycle trainer provides variable resistance to pedaling and allows for a rider to simulate a real-world bicycle course. The trainer engages both the front tire and the back tire of the bicycle and adjusts each according to the rider's preferences during a training session. The front tire lifts up and down as the bicycle moves forward and backward on the trainer. The back tire is adjusted by incorporating magnets thereon in the form of magnetic elements on a sleeve or a clip that engages the back tire and/or the back tire rim. The magnets on the back tire may also be attached to the spokes. The trainer includes magnets as well, usually of opposite polarity, and adds resistance to pedaling when the magnetic fields of the magnets interact to resist back tire revolution.

  • Patent number: 7951018
Abstract: A golf tee is provided for supporting a golf ball. The golf tee is adapted to sit on top of the ground and comprises a support rim or at least three support points for supporting a golf ball and an open body having a lower end suitable for placement on the ground and an upper end suitable for connection to the support rim. An optional neck may be used connecting the upper end of the open body to the support rim. The open body comprises a plurality of support columns and optionally one or more support rings connecting the support columns. The support columns are separated by holes thereby increasing the surface area of the golf tee. The open body and holes are adapted to receive grass and can allow for substantial level placement of the tee relative to the ground even when the grass is dense or longer. The support columns and holes result in a golf tee having a high drag and relatively low weight thereby providing a golf tee which travels a relatively short distance when struck by a swinging golf club.

  • Patent number: 7933904
Abstract: The main purpose of the software, system and method of this invention is to help produce better searches for people utilizing their context as represented by a vector. The system allows for files (including websites) to be tagged with a vector. If a provider wants a searcher to find that provider's files, the file must be tagged with the vector that is sufficiently close to the searcher's corresponding vectors. A search user inputs not only a text search but also the vectors that have been created to show the context and preferences of that search user.
