Abstract: A wireless communication method includes identifying a location of a dead spot region within an expected route of a vehicle. It is estimated whether the vehicle will arrive at the dead spot region before a wireless application is completed. It is determined whether an expected time period that the vehicle will be disposed within the dead spot region is greater than a maximum allowable disconnection time. A dead spot mitigation technique is initiated dependent upon the estimating and determining steps.

Abstract: A method of operating wireless devices includes providing a plurality of sender nodes each having a respective message to wirelessly send to a receiver node. A probability distribution is assigned to a plurality of frequency channels such that a respective probability of selection is assigned to each frequency channel. At least two of the probabilities of selection are unequal. A respective frequency channel is probabilistically selected for each of the sender nodes according to the probability distribution. The messages are wirelessly sent from the sender nodes to the receiver node in the selected frequency channels. The receiver node is used to sample a first one of the frequency channels and a second one of the frequency channels. The second frequency channel has a higher respective probability of selection than the first frequency channel.
Abstract: An adjustable picture hanger for suspending an object from a surface. An exemplary embodiment may include a base mounted to a wall, a central plate selectively rotatable with respect to the base, and/or a hook slidable in a slot in the plate. The position of the hook relative to the wall may be adjusted by rotating the plate with respect to the base and/or by sliding the hook along the slot.

Abstract: A box turkey call comprising a sound box with a bottom wall, side walls, front end wall and back end wall, a first quick changeable attachment component secured to the front end wall, a striker having a front end, a distal back end, a top surface and a bottom surface, where the back end of the striker comprises an integrated handle, where the bottom surface of the striker is rounded laterally, and where the front end of the striker has a second quick changeable attachment component, where the first quick changeable attachment component and the second quick changeable attachment component are in pivotal but quickly detachable engagement.
Abstract: A sling-type protective cover for a container. An exemplary protective sling for a baby bottle may include a plurality of straps extending longitudinally from a base. The bottom end of a baby bottle may be received in the base, and each of the straps may include an opening for engaging the neck of the bottle. The protective sling may be constructed from an elastic material, such as a thermoplastic elastomer.
Abstract: An integrated tilt/sash lock assembly for a sash window is disclosed. The sash window assembly has an upper sash window and a lower sash window slideable within a master frame, the integrated assembly has a keeper adapted to be connected to the upper sash window. A rotor assembly is adapted to be supported by the lower sash window, the rotor assembly having a rotor connected to a spool. A latch bolt is adapted to be supported by the lower sash window and is adapted to engage the master frame. A connector has a first end connected to the spool and a second end connected to the latch bolt. An actuator is connected to the rotor assembly. The actuator has a locked position wherein the rotor engages the keeper. The actuator is moveable to an unlocked position wherein the rotor assembly is disengaged from the keeper, and is further moveable to a tiltable position wherein the connector retracts the latch bolt from the master frame.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a display panel driving apparatus that can make the circuit layout surface area smaller, and prevent circuit damage. The display panel driving apparatus includes a source amplifier, a sink amplifier, a switch and the like. The source amplifier includes a first output circuit, a second output circuit and the like, and a guard transistor is provided between the first output circuit and the second output circuit to prevent an output signal voltage of the first output circuit from becoming less than an intermediate voltage. The sink amplifier includes a first output circuit and a second output circuit, and a guard transistor is provided between the first output circuit and the second output circuit to prevent an output signal voltage of the first output circuit from exceeding an intermediate voltage.

Abstract: A dropper-type regulator capable of providing a soft start function using a simple circuit configuration. An exemplary regulator includes a first FET having a relatively high current driving capability and a second FET having a relatively low current driving capability are provided in parallel between an input terminal and an output terminal. For a predetermined time immediately after power activation, only the second FET is driven, thereby preventing a large rush current. A switch circuit connected to the gate of the first FET is operated after the predetermined period of time, thereby supplying a driving voltage to the gate of the first FET.
Abstract: A hanger for suspending an object from a supporting surface. An exemplary hanger may include a base mountable to a supporting surface, the base including a hook portion providing an upwardly opening gap, and a receiver pivotably mounted adjacent to a distal edge of the hook portion, the receiver being pivotable between an open position in which the receiver and the gap provide an aperture wider than the gap for receiving a supporting device connected to an object and a closed position in which the receiver substantially overlaps the gap. Some exemplary embodiments may include a magnet mounted to the receiver.
Abstract: Devices, apparatuses, systems and/or methods related to animal enclosure latches.
