Abstract: A method for informing a subscriber of a mobile telephony network about incoming calls while the mobile telephone of the subscriber is switched off or is not connected to the mobile telephony network. The notification takes place via the mobile telephone of the subscriber as soon as the mobile telephone has re-registered itself in the mobile radio network, and the message including at least the call number of the missed caller. In the event of a calling line identification restriction (CLIR) from the caller, a message is automatically produced and sent to the caller, by which means the caller is prompted, by a dialogue, to temporarily release the call number transmission for the call, such that the call number of the caller can be communicated to the subscriber.

Abstract: A controlled, symmetrical, stable current source that can power floating resistive loads, eliminates the need to connect the load directly to either a power supply or ground and protects the load against overpower should either or both sides of the load be shorted to ground. The current source includes two operational amplifiers for providing a current through the load that is proportional to an input voltage applied across the respective non-inverting inputs of the two operational amplifiers; two current sensing resistors for providing voltage drops that are proportional to the current through the load; and four summing resistors connected to the sensing resistors for providing to the inverting inputs of the operational amplifiers voltages that offset the sum of the voltage drops provided by the sensing resistors so that the current through the load is controlled by only the input voltage.
Abstract: A main body for attaching an electronic component, for example, a transponder, on a rubber article, such as a tire, a conveyor belt, or the like. The mount has a connecting layer made, in one embodiment, of uncured, curable rubber material which is covered by an adhering protection film prior to use. A main body made of cured or uncured rubber material is permanently connected with this connecting layer and has a recess for accommodating the electronic component. A cover preferably made of the main body material, serves for fixing the electronic component in the recess in the main body.

Abstract: A valve block disposed adjacent a tool attachment of a working machine, where the tool attachment is adapted for connection to different types of hydraulically maneuvered tools or implements with the aid of a hydraulically actuated locking device. The valve block includes first port means, second port means, and third port means for connecting hydraulic lines of the working machine to hydraulic coupling elements and to the locking device respectively. The valve block includes a line system and valve means which communicate with the port means so as to fulfill at least three of the following five functions: ensuring the presence of pressure in the locking device in the event of a fracture in the hydraulic lines of the working machine; ensuring connection of the first port means with either the second port means or the third port means to obtain post-tensioning of the locking device to relieve the pressure load; and to provide pressure limitation.
Abstract: A machine tool having a protective cabinet and an illumination system comprising at least one discharge lamp installed in the interior space of the protective cabinet. The discharge lamp is formed as a flat lamp radiating over a large area with a uniform luminous intensity and disposed on a cabinet wall in order to obtain an enhanced illumination of the entire workspace of the machine as well as of the interior space of the protective cabinet.
Abstract: A vandal resistant pull box to secure terminating utility cables and cable connections below ground surface. As a retrofit apparatus, brackets engage the bottom edges of the pull box container and a top cover securely engages the brackets. As a complete assembly, the container is included with the brackets and the cover. Any type of locking device may be employed to secure the cover to at least one of the brackets.
Abstract: A method for employing a pre-assembled drainage catheter assembly for the insertion of a drainage catheter percutaneously. The assembly includes a trocar, a cannula, a catheter stiffener, and a catheter. The drainage catheter assembly is operated between a pre-assembled condition, a first step condition and a second step condition. In the first step insertion the trocar and cannula are inserted into a patient's body for obtaining a specimen fluid before the catheter is inserted. In the second step the catheter is inserted for collecting fluid.
Abstract: A fixture which is intended to be screwed firmly into bone tissue. The fixture includes a generally cylindrical anchoring portion provided with an external screw thread. The anchoring portion includes a cavity which extends from the insertion end of the anchoring portion. A number of slots which connect the cavity with the outside of the anchoring portion extend from the insertion end of the anchoring portion. Each slot is delimited by a leading slot wall and a trailing slot wall, the leading and trailing slot walls rotating in the direction defined by the screw thread when screwing in the anchoring portion. At least the radially outermost part of the trailing slot wall defines an angle with the radial direction and is inclined obliquely forward from within and outward in the direction of rotation.
Abstract: A branch sleeve adapted to carry out a crimping process around mutually parallel electrically conductive conductor sections. The sleeve includes a first groove-shaped recess which connects with a second groove-shaped recess and with an open part that extends between the recesses. The first recess is adapted to freely embrace or surround a first conductor section, and the second recess is adapted to freely embrace or surround a second conductor section, wherein each of the recesses has an opening area which conforms with and exceeds the largest conductor-section area, for which the sleeve is dimensioned. The sleeve has a cross-sectional shape in the form of a stylized digit “three.” The distribution of material around the recesses of the branch sleeve, or a so-called 3-sleeve, and the form and orientation of the recesses, are mutually adapted to create reducing gatherings of material inter alia adjacent to and at a small distance from said open part, and increasing gatherings of material at the leg parts.
Abstract: A nondestructive retrofit fire sprinkler protection system including a sprinkler fitting with a unique shape that inserts behind a wall surface and that securely connects a sprinkler head emerging from a wall location to preferably concealed sprinkler piping located in a room at a point where the ceiling surface meets a wall surfaces. In addition, a room coupler fitting is adapted to be inserted between wall structures to connect sprinkler piping in adjacent rooms.
Abstract: A decorative element for the human body in the form of a breast clasp which can be worn on the person. One breast clasp can be worn in the crease beneath a female breast and is held in place by means of a clamping and adhesive effect. The breast clasp is designed as a curved element and performs a shaping or supporting function, or both, for the female breast.
Abstract: The invention relates to a tool holder for cranes. The tool holder comprises hydraulic cylinder means arranged to detachably be able to lock a tool to the tool holder. Furthermore, hydraulic coupling means is comprised and arranged to be connected with hydraulic coupling means on the tool and hydraulic line means. The object of the invention is, among other things, to reduce the number of requisite lines in the hydraulic line means. According to the invention, the tool holder comprises furthermore valve means provided with switching means arranged to connect the hydraulic line means either to the hydraulic cylinder means or to the hydraulic coupling means of the tool holder. Thereby, the same hydraulic line means may be used for the locking i 5 function and the tool. The invention also relates to a crane provided with such a tool holder as well as use of the tool holder.
