Abstract: A magnetic jumper for bypassing electrical circuits. The jumper includes a magnet at each end of a wire. Each magnet can be attached to a terminal of a low voltage electrical circuit in order to bypass that circuit for testing and troubleshooting purposes. The magnetic jumper works with almost any terminal that has steel screws.
Abstract: An axle guide assembly for a drywall coating box. The axle guide assembly comprises one or more, preferably two, axle guides. Each axle guide is a clip that fits onto an axle of a drywall coating box in order to allow coating mud to be applied to the outside of a corner bead. As the axle guide assembly is slid down the corner bead, mud is applied to the corner bead.
Abstract: A fishing jig with a hook that has an oversized eye and a jig head that has a funnel-shaped lead-in area. The oversized eye makes it easy to insert the fishing line into the eye. The funnel-shaped lead-in area is used to guide the line directly into the eye of the hook.

Abstract: A remotely adjustable grip tip assembly for a walking aid, such as a crutch, cane, or walking stick that has a hollow tubular structure. The assembly includes a rod extending vertically within the hollow tubular structure, slots formed into the hollow tubular structure near its top and bottom ends, an adjustment screw or pin fitting into each slot, a spring near the bottom end of the hollow tubular structure, and a moveable gripper foot at the bottom end of the hollow tubular structure.
Abstract: A hand trowel for vibrating concrete in order to smooth the concrete. The trowel has a blade, a handle mounted on the blade, and electrical components including a motor inside the handle. When the switch is turned on, the motor causes the handle to vibrate, which in turn transmits vibrations to the blade and to the concrete surfaces that come in contact with the blade.
Abstract: The fishing lure having two or more hooks is constructed in an upside-down âTâ formation that, in its simplest form, incorporates two hooks at one hundred eighty degrees from each other and a shank that is located between the hooks and is perpendicular to a shaft that connects the hooks. The shank has a loop, ring, or bend at the top where the fishing line is attached. The hook can be manufactured as either a two piece unit or as a one piece unit. The unit is produced with or without a weight and/or bead located at the junction of the âTâ. The hooks and the weight and/or bead will vary in size as required for the application in which it is used. The hook shafts may vary in length to accommodate a variety of baiting options and presentation styles. The weight, bead, and hooks come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and finishes.
Abstract: A personalized story reading apparatus. The apparatus includes a book holder, a picture holder, and a voice recorder. A person, for example, a parent or a grandparent, records his or her voice reading the book and places his or her photograph into the picture holder. In this way the parent or grandparent can read the story to his or her child or grandchild even if he or she is not physically present.

Abstract: A vehicle access control bollard for path entryways and restricted drives which allows access for approved vehicles through the use of a self-contained interior lowering mechanism. The three-piece bollard comprises a lower section which is concreted below grade, an intermediate section which houses the interior slip-fit hinge lowering assembly, and an upper section that stands vertically or can be lowered to an approximately four and one-half to five inch clearance height to allow approved vehicles to pass over. There are no exterior hinges, locks, or bolts, thereby giving the appearance of a single permanent non-movable bollard.
Abstract: A method for installing insulation into the wall cavities of a building is disclosed. The method includes the following steps: hanging a sheet of polymeric material against the wall, cutting and mounting tracks around the studs, drilling holes into the tracks and inserting screws to pull the polymeric material tight, cutting an opening into the sheet and inserting a tube, blowing insulation into the cavity until it is filled, and removing the tracks.
Abstract: A weapons qualification target having indicia thereon, including a photograph of a human being, a drawing of selected parts of the human anatomy, and a standard weapons qualification scoring pattern. The scoring pattern and the anatomical indicia are invisible from the usual firing distance for weapons qualification so that the shooter sees a realistic target when qualifying.
Abstract: A concrete block system for retaining walls. Generally L-shaped concrete blocks are laid side by side and are laid in courses, each of which is positioned slightly inward from the course immediately below it to form a retaining wall. The retaining wall, the concrete blocks used to construct the retaining wall, and a method of constructing a retaining wall using these blocks comprise the system disclosed herein.
Abstract: A weapons qualification target that provides instant feedback to the shooter as to whether he or she hit the standard scoring pattern. The target has a metal plate that moves backward and upward on a pivot point when the shot is within the standard scoring pattern, and then moves forward and downward to reset for the next shot.
Abstract: A business method which uses a computer program to establish and maintain a deposit exchange. Customers deposit money with the deposit exchange and register with clients of the deposit exchange to use these deposits as discounts toward the price of goods or services the customer buys from the client. These discounts accumulate according to a formula similar to that used to calculate compound interest.
Abstract: A device for coating dental floss with toothpaste. The device has a main body which has a chamber for containing a floss spool and a female stem to receive a tube of toothpaste, a floss spool disposed within the chamber, a threaded male stem, a spool chamber cover, a floss passage block which has two openings of different sizes, and a cut-off tang.
Abstract: A grill for protecting light fixtures in a dome-type sports arena from being hit by balls. The grill comprises cross members mountable on a light fixture, upright members connected to the cross members, and a plurality of bows which surround the light on both ends, front, top, and bottom.
Abstract: A fishing lure that is automatically adjustable in order to maintain the lure at an optimum depth in a body of water. The lure has a central processing unit, a sender/receiver, and a depth varying mechanism. In response to signals from the sender/receiver, the central processing unit sends signals to control the depth varying mechanism in order to maintain the lure at a constant distance either the bottom or the surface of the body of water.
Abstract: An underground irrigation system which has a controller with multiple inputs, that is, more than one common wire. More zones can be irrigated with this system than would be possible using a comparable total number of wires in conventional irrigation systems.
Abstract: A strap-like item of wearing apparel which has studs that light up. A light-emitting diode (LED) is disposed within each stud. The LED's are activated by means of a circuit.
Abstract: A casing and door jamb trimmer comprising a base, a fence, and an arbor which are attachable to a conventional air tool and saw blade. The invention is used to trim casings and door jambs in order to allow flooring to be laid so that it fits perfectly with the door jamb.
